I am trying to figure out the pros/cons to each of the wings to know which one to request.

Which wing is physically closest to MK? Is the wing that is closest to MK also the wing that is closest to the monorail? or is it just closest to the walkway?

Also which wing is non smoking?

Which wing is being used by SOG?

Thank you.

The North Garden Wing is currently being used by SoG, and is the closest to the MK walking path. I'd say that both wings are equally accessible to the monorail, but the NGW has closer access to the walking path, and a back door entrance to the Food & Fun Center that is pretty convenient.

North wing is also closer to the busses and the kiddie playground.

The North Wing is closer to the Magic Kingdom path and several rooms I believe actually have a top view of Cinderella's castle and I would assume, the monorail also. However, I would not recommend these because I think they all overlook the parking lot and the view of the castle is blocked by trees... personally, we chose to overlook the marina, which was very pleasant. I do recall the South Wing having smoking rooms, but not the North Wing. As to which is closer to the monorail, both wings are the same, but if you request a room closer to the tower, you will be closer to the monorail. Please excuse me if any of this information is wrong, I am trying to think back a couple of years...
