Have car..will travel~ Outlets? Stores? Walmart?

We now have a rental car at a good price might I add $9/day through Hetrz through Priceline...

So now we can venture beyond the disney gates.

Where is the best shopping/outlets???

Also is there a walmart/target/grocery store to go to??

Chose economy car fist and entered $8 a day. they rejected it!
Second request I did $9 a day since you have to change some part of your reservation. I went up to Compact car. They accepted the offer.

Through Hertz
taxes and fees $41.28

Yes there is good shopping. I prefer Premium Outlets in LBV; the renovated Prime is okay, I just hate I Drive. Need to know where you are staying to direct you to Target, Wal-mart, etc. Plenty of grocery stores, drug stores.

There are a lot of different options of Target, Walmart, groceries, etc. Your best bet is to get an Orlando map so you can find out how to get to each one.

There are several WalMarts and many grocery stores in the area.

The address for the closest Wal Mart is 3250 Vineland Road, Kissimmee. Take Hwy 192 to Polynesian Isle Blvd(stop light), make a left. Polynesian runs up right beside the Wal Mart. This is a super Wal Mart and has a nice Disney section.

I had a car and stayed at All star Music-It is so nice to have the car. I booked one dinner at Animal Kingdom lodge and went there early- it was great we chatted with a guide from South africa about the animals and then after dinner went to the pool for night vision

If you are looking for a Target on the way to the hotel from the airport, take the south exit and then the 417. If you get off at Orange Blossom Trail heading south, there is a Target there. There is also a Albertson's grocery store.

You could then either get back on the 417 to Disney or you could continue south and take Osceola Parkway over to Disney (just know that Osceola parkway has a higher toll).

Or you can take the 417 and go south on 535 to the Wal-mart listed by a previous poster. (also, if you did decide to get off and go to Target, Osceola Parkway has an exit for 535 close to the Walmart).

I read a press release on google that a new super walmart just opened up at 5991 New Goldenrod rd..opened or was scheduled to open March 7th!

I'm sure they're all similar, but we generally go to the Wal-Mart on 535, and they have great souvenirs (t-shirts, cups, bags, etc., etc., etc.). Much cheaper than shopping at Disney. It's also very close to the Disney outlet at the LBV outlet mall.

The one on 535 is close to Downtown Disney and the Premium Outlets too. There are some great restaurants in that area too (Landry's, Lonestar Steakhouse, Golden Corral, etc.).
