My boyfriend and I are going in October and wanted to book the great AP rate. I have an AP and he doesn't. Do I have to book the room under my name with my credit card for the AP discount, or can we get the discount as me just staying there?

I have AP and husband does not and we have booked with both names and used my AP for the discount...maybe because we're married? You could try to get a knowledgable CM to answer or call the hotel directly.

When you book you will not need to give a credit card name or #. You will have to eventually send in a deposit, but I don't think it matters whose crdit card is used or what name is on the card. Then when you arrive at your hotel you will have to pay the balance, again I don't think it matters who or how the balance is paid, as long as you have your AP with you to show at check-in. Hope this answers your question. As mom2ee said, check with CRO, but I don't think you will have a problem.

Well, since last year my sister made the reservation for her and me and my two girls, and the AP holder was my daughter, I'd say that you are fine. We were told that as long as someone registered (and it could be a child in the room), has the AP, it is fine.

They must recieve your deposit withing 14 days or they will cancel the reservation.

I believe as long as One person staying in the room has the AP it will not matter who books the room and whose CC is used.
