Just came back from 10 days at WDW (Poly). Here's where we ate:

Kona Cafe (breakfast and dinner)
O'Hana's
Crystal Palace (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
Biergarten
Mexico TS restaurant (forgot the name)
Boma (dinner)
Cinderella's Royal Table (dinner)
Rainforest Cafe (AK - lunch)
Bongo's (downtown Disney)
Capt Cooks (CS at Poly)
Chef Mickey (breakfast and dinner)
The Land (Epcot - lunch)

I'd be glad to answer anyone questions about the restaurants.

What did you order at Kona?

I've got an ADR there for next month and I've never been there before.

Please, tell us about your dinner at Boma! Also...do you still receive the lithograph at dinner at CRT? :upsidedow

The food at Kona is very good. I had the turkey medallions wrapped in bacon with a chili garlic sauce. The succotash was excellent. My husband had the beef teriyaki and he seemed to enjoy it. The kids meals are pretty standard and pretty much the same as everywhere else. Any dessert is worth the calories there!!! Lots of chocolate!!

Enjoy!

What kind of offerings @ Biergarten. We have ADRs there in Sept. and all the menus I've seen say something like assorted meats, assorted salads, etc.

Boma is my favorite restaurant in all of WDW!
It is definately for those who want to try something different. Although they do have some "regular" food for the non-adventurous.

They generally have "standards" that are always there:
-flatbreads with 3 different spreads (roasted pepper, olive and white bean)
-many different salads
-about 5 different soups (such as butternut squash - delicious!, lamb stew, corn chowder, lentil and sausage etc)
- Fufu (a sweet potato mash - my 7 yr. old's favorite), couscous, coconut rice etc.
- a children's station with chicken strips, pasta and meatballs, mac & cheese
- prime rib (or other carving meat)
- some type of "specialty" meat (marinated flank steak, spicy ribs, etc.)
- DESSERTS (zebra domes- which are mousse tarts, banana bread pudding with vanilla sauce - (MY favorite), various tarts, cookies, flan, fresh fruit etc.

The menu will change weekly for soups, carving and specialty meats. Of course, I'm probably forgetting things but it really is a wonderful buffet.

No, they are not giving the lithographs any longer at Cinderella's Royal Table. Instead they are giving the children a special gift (a wand for the girls and a sword for the boys) - of course, in addition to your pictures with Cinderella!

They pretty much have the standard German fare: Sauerbraten (German pot roast - very good!), bratwurst, spaetzle (noodles), red cabbage, schnitzel (I believe it was pork), roasted chicken, German potato salad, pasta salads, regular green salad, pretzel rolls, and of course the best apple strudel and other desserts. They had this great flat cookie with apricot preserves and sliced almonds that I took a few to go when we left! Of course, the beer is great and they have an interactive live show that goes on every 25 minutes or so. It's alot of fun.

What was your favorite?

My favorite is Boma (2nd favorite is Crystal Palace - great breakfast place).
