Does anyone else use WDW as a big part of their motivation to lose weight? I do-I always think of myself at my goal weight carrying bags of sugar (or some weights) to represent the total amount of weight I want to lose, walking around Epcot's WS (my favorite place to stroll). Then I imagine how much easier it will be next time when I'm (hopefuly) without any of those bags (i.e. that extra weight) because I hope to be at goal. Also, I just bought a new bathing suit and I keep imagining myself sitting around the pool at OKW, not feeling self-conscious. So how does WDW figure into your weight loss plans?

i use florida all the time as reasons i need to stop being lazy and exercise..and really work to lose this weight..i only have about 2 months until im going, and its going to be hot...
i have no will power!! haha

When I reach my weight goal and tone up, I plan on trying out for The Festival of the Lion King Show. I have some pictures posted up around the house to remind me what my ultimate goal ia. I'm sure I won't make it on the first try around but it will be fun trying.

My biggest motivation this year is Halloween at WDW. I have been the last two years.....FAT! Well, the first time I was pregnant and fat and the second time just plain fat. I want a great skinny girl costume this year and I am going to GET a great skinny girl costume!

I know I do! Just found out my April vacation switched from San Diego to WDW and now I'll be adding miles to my exercise program (which won't be hard as my exercise program was pretty darn whimpy!). So the next six weeks will be more focused for me than they probably would have without a visit to WDW to work towards! Glad I have another one in October too!

this yr we only have 5wks from our last summer mini-vaca till we leave for our WDW vaca - in the past its been more like 12 - so I know I gotta be good
and since we're in a 1B at VWL we're planning on more resort time so will be in those tankinis alot more
im right where i should be but gotta watch the ice cream over the summer - dont need that rear bumper!

WDW was my motivator, I have to admit it.
When I started losing weight the end of May last year, it was for my WDW vacation at the end of September. Whenever I go to WDW I always start walking a few months before so I have a little bit of stamina. My goal was to lose 20 pounds, and I actually lost 25. When I got to WDW and realized how much easier it was for me to walk at a nice brisk pace when I wanted, to sit in the car at Test Track and Dinosaur and not panick about getting the lap belt fastened, I wanted to keep up my routine.
I did not gain any weight during that trip and came back with more of a resolve than when I started.
We are going to WDW the end of June and I am hoping to lose another 15 pounds by then....but if I do not that is okay, with exercising each day like I have been doing I will be in the best shape I have been in for years! I am actually planning on going to one of the water parks, in all my trips I have never gone to one.
WDW got me started, but changing my life has kept me going!

Oh I do!!! I know at he most I will be a few pounds lighter for my April trip, but my DD is dancing there in August and it IS SOOO HOT then that I am really focusing on dumping it by then.

Good luck
