I have a 5:20 PS for Chef Mickey's. We will be in MK that day, staying off sire so we will have our cars in parking lot.

What is the best way to go fro MK to Chef Mickey's? Is it easier to take the monorail? Or can you leave MK and park at Contemp? Also, the reservation agent said to allow 1 hour to get from MK to Chef Mickey's...is that about right?

I'd def take the monorail -and it shouldn't take you an hour. If you take the monorail back to TTC and get your car, then drive to Contemporary, check in with the guard, and hike from the parking lot, you'll need more than an hour.

I would hop on the monorail, it's a hop skip and jump to the Contemporary, then hop back on and come back to MK since you'll have time afterwards =) If you opt to just leave, you can take the monorail to the TTC and get your car and go home.

You might want to start heading to the monorail about an hour out in case the monorail has problems, and so you can take your time. =)

Hi tbrenk,

You can take the resort monorail one stop, or you can walk over. It's a very short walk, maybe half a mile, from the MK to the CR.

No way will it take you an hour no matter which way you go. If you take the monorail and just miss one it might take you 15-20 minutes but that would be the worst case.

Have fun!

Bob

We did the same thing last year and we just walked over. It only takes 10 to 15 min walking time to get to Chef Mickey's.
