Have a Photopass Question? Ask me!

I got Olaf at Typhoon Lagoon today, at the entrance!

And there were lots of photographers out today, even in the lazy river- we got really nice shots there!

That's great!

Do they still give out the PP cards that attach to your wrist at the water park?

Cool! I didn't know they did magic shots at the waterparks! Also, I'm sure they also do the wrist PP cards, although this summer should be easier since magic bands are waterproof.

For the water slide, crushin gusher, they handed us the PP card on the elastic band because they were in a hurry to get the next person. But for all the other pics, they put it on the magicband. So convenient!

The magic shot was right near the statue of the alligator. Boy was I surprised when I checked later in the day - I didn't even know the photographer was doing a magic shot at that point! I'd been looking for the Olaf pic the day before at Epcot so this was a really nice surprise!

Ok, so I am reading on the PP website about the archive CD, which is $119 prepurchased. If I am understanding correctly, it does NOT include rides or dining pictures, but you can edit and add borders, etc.

Memory Maker is $149 prepurchased and DOES include rides and dining pics.

My question is - can you edit and add borders, etc with Memory Maker? I could not find anything to say that, but my eyes are crossing a bit from reading this entire thread! ;)

Thanks in advance!! :)

Yes you can do the same things with MM photos that you can do with Photopass photos.

There are 3 differences between MM and Photopass Archive Disk and 3 only
1. Ride photos are free with MM
2. Extra cost meal photos are free with MM
3. MM is digital download only.

Everything else between the 2 are the same.

Is there a PP photographer at the Harmony Barbershop, and if not, would a Main Street photographer be able to come in and snap a few if I asked nicely? We are having my son's first haircut done and I would love some professional pictures.

Yes! :-). There was a PP photographer in the barbershop taking pics. My girls got color streaks.....he even took them outside when they were done and did more shots.

I also am hoping there will be a PP photographer at Harmony Barbershop when we go. There wasn't one there when we went in 2012. My DGS will be getting his first haircut there soon! I would love to have some great pictures!!

Not something that usually happens. It's more of a magical moment location.

I don't work at MK but I do help guests view photos at the other three parks and I've never seen photos from there. Every photographer has a place they are assigned to stand so if you ask them to move from their location for a period of time they may get in trouble, especially if a manager comes by looking for them and no one is there....

However, if you ask them in advance they may be able to call the "base" and ask if they can move. The only problem is if someone comes by to give them a break and they are gone. There is also certain areas that can't be photographed because of copyright laws but the barbershop should be ok.

So, the short answer is I don't know. I think it would all depend on the photographer. Also, don't ask if they are on a tripod. Those locations can't move.

My question is we are vacationing with our neighbors. I bought Memory maker and have control of the account. Our neighbors are arriving 2 days before us. If they grab photo pass card and use that the 2 days before we get there will I be able to add that card to my Memory maker account even though I don't really activate the account until 2 days later? I do not want to give them ownership as I paid for the photopass. Thanks in advance!

We will have a group of 10 of us and will be there in a week. I wanted to get the MM. But there will be lots of times when our group will be split up doing our own thing. Will we all be able to get pics added to the ONE MM in this case? And if so, how do we do this? We are staying off site. 5 of us are AP holders and have magic bands from previous on-site trips. The other 5 will have regular park hoppers.

Just wanted to tell everybody that today at Blizzard Beach, my DS got a magic shot of Sebastian from Little Mermaid sitting on his hand. He got it in the wave pool. Very cool!

Yes, but they wouldn't be able to add any ride or dining photos since they wouldn't have the MM card as a proof of purchase. They can use a regular white pp card for regular photos and then you can add them to the MM card at one of the view stations, which are located at the front of every park, the water parks (in the summer), Downtown Disney (in the guest relation building) and at certain resorts (Grand Floridian, Poly, Animal Kingdom Lodge, and Yacht Club). Just as a hint, don't tell them to hold on the ride photo numbers because we can't add ride photos to MM at the view stations. They only save them for 24 hours and the attractions photo system and the pp photo system are two different computer systems. Hope that helps!
