I had noticed it and really didn't know how to take it
I guess he doesn't like us 'Brits' coming and spending our money - sorry to disappoint him but we're coming in Dec, like it or lump it 'love'

"Oh crikey! that post is terribly ghastly!" LMAO
What a nutter!
oooohhhh I'm so tempted to reply.
What does he want American only Disney???
I hope I get something for 'the year of a million dreams' and I can rub it in his face!
lol
I think (and hope) you've misinterpreted the original poster's intent - if you carry on to his next post in that thread I think he is just genuinely interested as to why there seems to be a disproportionate number of British as to other foreign visitors.

I agree with Libby. I don't think the OP meant to be offensive, but was curious about the large number of British visitors in WDW compared to the numbers of other non-American visitors, based on the accents he/she hears in the parks.
I don't find the post offensive, but I do detect an air of irritibility. To me, it does come across as slightly confrontational, rather than the musings of someone with a genuine interest in the topic.
The majority of US residents cannot pick out our accents at all, I am from the North West and have been asked if I am Welsh, Australian and even Canadian numerous times.
I have often got the impression they think we all speak like Julie Andrews and Prince Charles.
