hi guys, thanks so much! I will be at school pretty much all day on tuesday as it's my volunteer day in art and library... So hopefully the mail will come while I'm there. I'll let you guys know how the "race" between the classes is going if I hear anything. maggie
The post cards don't have to be here tomorrow, the third grade is seeing how long it takes to actually get 100 postcards from tomorrow. (at least that's how it was explained to me) so send away! maggie
Oh well, I posted one from work on Friday, but after the inter-office mail pick up for that day. The card was in the inter-office mail bin over the weekend and through the Monday President's holiday and was at last picked up today. This is how the mail works at our college. If mail is picked up today, Tuesday, it is posted Wednesday. So maybe you'll get it by next Monday. I tried.
thanks! Kate is having a great time with this. She came home yesterday and said, "well mom, lots of people said to say hi to you from the dis and my teacher was a little curious as to what that meant" I just started laughing. I told her to tell her they were from all my scrappin pals and disney pals. maggie
thanks so much you guys! kate came home today and said that the class has recieved 29 postcards... 26 are to kate. I haven't seen them but I'm assuming that if y'all sent them, she's now gotten them. She's enjoying this a bunch. You guys rock. maggie
you guys rock! kate's class is up to like 61 postcards as of today. (I shudder to think how many are hers.... probably a good 40-45) Still plenty of time to send one if you haven't already. And again a huge thanks to everyone who has! maggie
again, a big thank you to all of you! The kids have really enjoyed sticking all the post cards on the map and trying to decide who is farthest away, closest, how many different countries, etc. They are having a great time. maggie
ps: guess now I'll have to do a scrapbook page of this eh?
