I'm sorry if this has been asked & answered before, but my searching didn't turn up a question that answered our circumstances exactly. I purchased 9 day MYW park hopping/expiring tickets from ticketmania recently. We were planning on using them for our Jan '06 trip and not planning another trip for awhile.

However, my DH has learned of a convention that he'll likely be attending at CSR in late June so we are wondering if we can convert these all to APs or not?

While I am sure you can, the question would be how much credit they give you for them. Did Ticketmania get a discount on them?

Even if you upgrade to AP on the last day of your JAN trip you AP will have the issue date of the first day you used that MYW ticket.

IF(unknown to me), that June trip will be your Only 06 trip it may be a better value to upgrade to a 14 day mywNON EXPIRE, I dont even know if they are available but worth checking into. Upgrading to a 10day non expire would be like $52, and if you save a few Days from your Jan trip it could be pretty inexpensive.

Yes, I bought them with the Mousesavers discount so I did get them for a good rate. :)

Ok-that is good to know I didn't realize that.

The June trip would be the last trip we take in 2006 or 2007 (sigh). I will check to see if there are 14 day MYW non-expiring tickets available. The only reason we went with 9 day tickets instead of the 7 day tickets we were thinking of is because they were $1 cheaper (with the mousesavers/ticketmania discount) than the 7 day ones. We figured if we get an early flight in/late flight out we would have 2 more days to do something even if it was at one park for an hour or 2. We don't have to use those days though, especially if we know we'll be back in June. :teeth:

The other thing I wondered about is convention tickets? I've heard people talk about these in the past and wonder if we might get a better deal by waiting to see what those prices would be. It is going to be a fairly big convention so I hope they'll be offered. Anyone know what convention tickets cost? Or do the prices differ based on the organization?

BTW-Thanks for the info & your thoughts! :)
