haunted mansion

Caunt me in too. Haunted mansion is my all time favorite as well. Everything about it, can't pick a favorite part. :hmghost:

It's not a REAL trip to WDW without riding HM at least one time....

....or ten..... :rotfl:

I love Haunted Mansion!!!! I'm super excited to ride it this December. My dd was too scared to try it last time, but she swears since she'll be almost 8 that she's doing it this time! lol :hmghost:
Oh, and my favorite part is the hitch hiking ghosts...my son got a huge kick out of that part too :thumbsup2

HM is my absolute favorite ride at WDW with POTC being a close second.

I still remember being amazed and blown away the very first time I saw the hitch-hiking ghosts. At 40, I still love it.

I also really like how, due to the design of the Doom Buggy, you're the only one in the HM. Sure, there are other folks in the DB on either side of you, but you can't see them. It's like you're all alone... except for 999 happy haunts, of course.

My favorite is the ballroom scene, I love the gunman in the left hand corner...

We have gotten stuck there twice and I actually ENJOY being stuck in the ballroom scene, I know really weird but oh well.

I have the full soundtrack that we got at Disneyland, has the entire ride from Disneyland, DisneyWorld, Disneyland Paris and part of Tokyo Disney. (I think). I want to go to Disneyland Paris just to ride Phantom Manor!

have to disagree....to me and DH Haunted Mansion is loud and boring, we couldn't wait to get off. Our fav ride is def Soarin!!! :cool1:

A Disney masterpiece. Too bad the movie didn't come out a little better.
:earsboy:

I love it too- and sometimes when I need my Disney fix I play HM on the PS2

This is the one attraction (besides Test Track) that I could ride over and over again!! :hmghost: :hmghost: :hmghost:

Went on the one at Disneyland (they had decorated it for the Nightmare Before Christmas) and HATED it!! :furious:  Love the HM, hated riding this one. They changed everything and I was SOOOOO disappointed.

All right, thanks for posting the doombuggies website -

Can anyone tell me where to look to find the hidden Donald Duck chair??

:hmghost: This is our absolute, most favorite ride!! The dining room is the best part IMO! One time a CM in full HM character (serious, gloomy, silent) followed my DS11 all the way out to the main street after the ride! LOL! My DS was creeped out, but in a fun way. Afterward, we all laughed and rode again. :hmghost:

The chair isn't there anymore. I was there Presidents week and it was still gone since Christmas. Its usually in the first part of the tour when you are riding in the doom buggy and you can look down the long hallway and there is a candelabra in the distance. They have replaced the Donald chair with a plain chair. Heard different stories of why its no longer there, read one here on the disboards that a "guest" broke it, don't know what the real truth is though for the missing Donald chair.

I love this ride, too!

My favorite parts are probably the cemetery and the dining room, but I love everything!!!!!!

definitly one of my favorites. my first WDW memory is of HM. still to this\day i seem to always find something that i have never seen before.

a true Disney classic attraction

Thank you - I also read about the broken chair, but I thought I read on an information site that they had put the Donald Chair back - maybe it was Disneyland, or just a rumor!!

Definetly one of my favorite rides & a must do every trip :hmghost:

Yes, it is back. It's in a different location. I'm not telling. ;) :goodvibes

HM is my favorite ride too. Have to ride at least once each and every time we go. It's become a sentimental place too -- DH proposed to me while we on the ride during the swinging wake scene. ;) I knew that ring was coming all day -- lunch at CRT, walking through the rose garden -- but he caught me off guard in my favorite spot in a ride.

You know I wasn't terribly impressed with the Nightmare before Christmas overlay either, I so missed Grim Grinning Ghosts! But I still like Disneyland HM better then DW.
