Another poster said the Haunted Mansion narration is in English and Spanish. Is that right? Please tell me it's not true! That would be VERY distracting!

It is in English - they were referring to safety announcements and such given while you are in line/getting on the ride.

I just read the thread where this stated; they said clearly that it was the narration through the ride. I personally am having a hard time believing this, but it's what they said happened on their ride.

The narration is only at the start in both English and Spanish, before you turn the corner- safety instructions, etc... the last thing said in Spanish is "y ahora, preparase! (sp?) IMO, it sounds spookier in Spanish the way it's said than in English :)

I was there in Jan and it's the opening instructions that are in spanish, not the whole thing.

I barely noticed.

I was there three weeks ago- it's just the safety instructions. We still cracked up, though. It was just funny for some reason. :)

We thought the DLRP's version was hilarious - the spiel at Phantom Manor was in French (naturally) but no matter how "spooky" it sounded, DH and I were laughing hysterically!:lmao:
