so i'm an international visitor and will have my magic band waiting at the resort.

Can i just show up with the new band and have everything transferred on to it there?

The MB that will be waiting for you will already be linked to your MDX account and you can take the MB and enter the park and FP lines.

I mean can I replace the magicband that will be there waiting for me at the resort with one I buy at a shop or Ebay etc.. Can they link the new one i buy?

You can link it by linking the ID# on the underside of the new MB to your MDX Profile.

Just buy one when you reach the airport.

A previously linked band will not be usable by someone else. Get a new one.

Are there any good limited bands out right now? I want to get one at MNSSHP but we are going 10/23 and I’ve heard those might be sold out by then.

You can do it through your MDE or you can have them do it at the front desk. There are simply a series of numbers and letters on the back that are used to link it to your account, it's very simple. Oops - just saw someone else answered you!

There are on-demand shops at each of the parks. The MK one is (I believe) in the Space Mountain area. Someone else may know the other locations, they might be listed on a Disney website somewhere. They're behind a counter in gift shops with usually a numerous choices on display.

Looked at the Disney Shopping App and sorted highest to lowest priced ones and Usually the more excpensive ones are the LE ones. Currently don't see any LE but the most expensive I see at the moment is a Dooney and Bourke Passport one that is in store only. Okay I did find on LE, its an Avatar Shaman for 39.99 but in store only.

So you might can find something when you are there. The HM bands we got we ordered online and they were the LE Dooney and Bourke band. Not sure if they will have those again but they might have something else for HM.
