Haunted Mansion Holiday installation

I was wondering when the haunted mansion will close for the installation of the holiday overlay. We are visiting in early September, and I was hoping to see the Hatbox ghost. Any other scheduled maintance ride closures at that time? I was thinking that since so many were spruced up before the 60th anniversary, that we may not see many rides scheduled to be closed.

Currently it looks like the HM is scheduled to be closed 8.24-9.10 from what people have puzzled together from various places.

There will be ride closures after Labor Day. All rides need annual maintenance, even after large events. Usually they schedule gets updated about 4 weeks out and is subject to change at any time. Space Mountain also usually gets an overlay for Halloween in early Sept. If the HM overlay happens, Space might too.

We will be there Sept. 6-12, so we may get to see Hatbox! What things open on Sept. 11? Halloween carnival?

Sniff! If they close it on the 24th, I'll be so sad. We get there on the 29th. I like DL HM so much more than the one at WDW. Oh well... nothing to do about it. Except, sniff!
