Haunted Manison closed November 6 - 15

Boy, I guess people who were so quick to judge based on the number of posts someone has should start with the apologies.

Funny how quick people are to jump on someone but not so quick with the response when they are proven wrong. OP, thanks for daring to post!

Thanks mapmakerj.
I now feel vindicated.

Thanks RescueRanger & NCombs - I was beginning to feel that this was a very unfriendly board.

It's odd that the International WDW sites have their information before the main WDW site. :badpc:

The Haunted Mansion will be closed from November 6 - 16. The attraction is set to receive some minor touch-ups, cleaning, and load belt replacement.

Maybe it was originally scheduled to change to the Nightmare Before Christmas theme, but they changed their mind and never updated the UK site?

Happy to help. Don't let the negative posters on this thread who doubted you turn you off from the board. I have received alot of good information here from alot of great people.

I only see Timekeeper as well. If it is true it will stink. I am there in Oct so I will still get to ride it, but my little nephew enjoys it and I know he'll want to go on it again when we take him in nov.

What do number of posts have to do with? I don't post a whole lot but do read these boards everyday. I also think that OP is owed an apology.

I read the original post and the replies and thought "poor guy keeps getting bashed". I hope the aplogies start coming soon.

TNBC was never planned to be installed at WDW this year. Also it takes far longer than a week to install it. The Haunted Mansion will be closed.

I believe that was what NCombs was saying... we shouldn't judge someones information just because they don't have alot of posts. ;)

Exactly what I'm saying and I see reference to it all the time. Usually it is in the context of someone asking a question regarding a "hot-button" or "sensitive" topic and they are immediately assumed to be a troll or just a trouble-maker. How about we assume it is someone new with honest questions looking for some feedback.

Anyway, back to the original topic.....

I guess time will tell which site is correct.

:rotfl: I have 40K+ posts on another set of boards, that still doesnt mean people should listen to what I say over there :rotfl:

Just an FYI - Tour Guide Mike has the same info. Closed from 11/6 to 11/15 for rehab. And it was from one of Mike's employees, not one of his users.

Well, I certainly apologize. The only reason I posted what I did was because I looked at the official site and saw nothing... I have looked at the international site and it does indeed say that (I didn't even know there was an international site!)...

I was wrong!

I just hope that site is wrong... although we can just do it on our second MK day!!

I didnt know there was an international site either (maybe they have nov hours!!! :rotfl: ) I hope the info is wrong (tho I doubt it) since that is the week we are there, arrive on the 6th :guilty:

Maybe they'll finally replace the "hidden Donald" chair that's been missing for the past couple months!

Sorry if we didnt' believe, but mine was based on facts from the WDW website. I'd like to know why it's only on the UK site though.

There are no operational updates for Nov, except for the one that's been there all along, Timekeeper-open seasonally.

Oh. Oops. No more Timekeeper, seasonally or otherwise :sad2:

The lobby area is now a meet & greet area for Buzz and Stitch, and a CM confirmed that Timekeeper is no more.

Cm's are not an authority on anything. Almost all are told exactly nothing until the general public is told. Additionaly The lobby area has been used for meet & greets many times in the past with TimeKeeper coming back every now and then. I am not saying that Timekeeper will be reopening, all I am saying is that the meet & greet and the CM's info does not mean Timekeeper is no more.
