Like others, I'm also waiting for the November Operating Hours.
But I've noticed that the Operational Updates states:

The Haunted Mansion not be operating November 6 - 15, 2005 however we recommend Pirates of the Caribbean as an alternative during this time.

check out the number of posts (and the WDW website). I think he's pulling your leg.

There are no operational updates for Nov, except for the one that's been there all along, Timekeeper-open seasonally. What is the purpose of randomly posting statements that are not true, other than some perverse pleasure at watching people react? Really nice.

Allearsnet has nothing either.

Check the WDW website.

I got my operational info straight from the official Walt Disney World page. So, I think we can put this to rest, unless the OP cares to prove it with a link.

I keep trying to post the link, but I keep getting:
"Your Post contains one or more URLs, The DIS requires a minimum number of posts before allowing the posting of URL's."

Please, just try the official WDW website. The info is there, under Operational Updates for the Magic Kingdom for November 2005, along with the usual Timekeeper stuff.

November 2006???? You said Nov 2005 in your original post. Which is it? And Nov 2006 doesn't have anything either.

Operational Updates

We're making Walt Disney World® better every day, but sometimes that means an attraction or event may be temporarily unavailable. Here's an updated list of attractions that may be closed on these dates. View the Operational Updates
Magic Kingdom® Park
November 2005
The Timekeeper - open seasonally

Just a suggestion, take this kind of stuff over to wdwmagic.com. They'll think it was a kEwL joke. Pulling stoopid jokes on Disney boards ROCKZ! Dude.

I'll link it then.

Weird and interesting.
The URL of the page i'm looking at is identical except that instead of wdw, mine's got wdwi.
Could someone try it for me, substitute wdwi for wdw.

Someone did post this over on wdwmagic.com and got people going on a discussion about what they were going to rehab in 10 days, etc.

The OP is on the Uk version of the WDW website and it does indeed say the HM closing as he stated. I am not sure why the UK one states this but, the OP was not pulling anyone's leg, he was just getting info from the UK website.
Everyone who was giving the OP a hard time can see for themselves at:
http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/wdwi/en_GB/index which is the UK site.

If this is true, then there are a few people on this thread who owe the OP an apology. People on these boards are way too quick to judge and assume. :rolleyes1
