Haunted Hayride

Has anyone done Fort Wilderness' haunted hayride? I'd love info. Was it worth doing? Thanks!

We went on the Hayride this past October. It was a lot of fun and definitely worth it....something different and really a highlight of the trip for me.

Do you have kids? I don't want to offend any one or ruin the ride for those that haven't gone on it so I don't want to be too specific, but I will say that you should realize if you're taking VERY young children on a hayride that's after dark and described as "haunted", the little ones might get scared and cry (or scream that they want to get off the ENTIRE rest of the ride!) and that's not really fun for the kiddies or anyone else on the ride.

I haven't done it but watched a video of it on youtube. That might help you decide if it's worth it. It did look really cool.

We did it and it was great! No kiddos though, just DH and I. I actually got to be a part of the "show" but won't post details because I don't want to ruin it for anyone else. It was a LOT of fun!

What terms did you look up? I put in "fort wilderness haunted hayride" and nothing came up. All i'm getting is haunted mansion stuff. Thanks

Thanks for the info! Yeah, I don't think we'll take the younger ones. Maybe just the older kids can go while grandma and grandpa do the Chip 'n' Dale sing-along with the younger set (if I'm lucky and the timing matches up).
