I just reserved my tickets for the Haunted Hay Ride...advance tickets went on sale this morning...Good Luck.

Roam the woods of Fort Wilderness in your Haunted Wagon with a "Vineland, Mystery, Magic or Myth" theme.

Price:
$15.00 + tax for ages 10 and up
$10.00 + tax for ages 3 - 9

10/12, 13, 15, 17, 19, 20, 22, 24 - 31, 2007

Advance tickets can be purchased beginning 10/10/07.

From 10/12 thru 10/27 here will be 6 hayrides each evening beginning at 7:30pm. From 10/28 - 10/31, there will be 9 hayrides each evening beginning at 6:00pm.

I know I was relieved to get mine, I was planning on going down the night before my family just so I could be at Ft. Wilderness to purchase the tickets.

I've been redialing for one hour and 10 MIN I have tickets now for OCT 30 Tina

Finally got through after an hour of hitting redial. Got our tickets for 10/22, she said I was the first to call for that date. I'm really happy I don't have to get up at the crack of dawn for these tickets. Whoever originally posted about the change in ticket purchasing, THANK YOU!!! Just one more reason why I love the disboards.

So...I'm curious...

What happens on these hayrides? How long are they? Anybody have a review of their past experience? Just wondering if the $15 is worth it.

It's a hayride through Ft. Wilderness Campground, I have read reviews here on the DIS and over on Allears.

In the past you had to be at the Campground the morning of the night you wanted to do the ride, if you wanted tickets.

The ride is 30 minutes and they tell spooky stories, I booked tickets for October 19th @ 8:30pm.
