Was just doing my daily checking of the disboards when I found a thread on the theme park boards to say they were now taking bookings for this.

I know there are a few of us UK folk going in October. Not sure if anyone is planning on taking the spooky haunted carriage ride around Fort Wilderness. Spaces are limited, so don't wait too long to call. The number is 407 939 7529

Happy Planning
Nikki

You are very welcome =]

I have never been on one. I found out about it reading one of the many trip reports. There was even a video of someone's experience!

Hope you have a great trip =]

Woo hoo, I've just booked this for our October trip :)
Thanks for the heads up!

We did it last year after spotting it on the boards too. We really enjoyed it. Allow time to have a walk around the campsite the trailers/caravans were decorated fabulously whilst we were there and well worth a look. In fact when we go next October we'll make a trip up just to view them (may do carrige ride again-but they'll be eleven of us so may be difficullt to book 3 at once).

If you have time take a trip to Celebration too - houses there decorated - we had a lovely afternnon walking around - or may be better in the evening!

Thank you listing this. I called up last night and got a carriage on 10th October at 8pm. Never been to the Wilderness site before so will try and get there early to have a look around :goodvibes

Hi, I am interested in this for next year. Can I ask how many people a carriage holds and how much it costs?
Thanks.:goodvibes

Do you think this will be too scary for a 9 (just) & almost 8 year old?

I dont think it would be too scary. Our kids are similar ages and enjoyed this very much last year. It is very dark where they took us around Fort Wilderness though but the kids wanted to do it again this year so we are booked again for 30th October.

I see our tickers are 1 year apart - let me know how you get on at OKW and on this Haunted Carriage Ride!:thumbsup2

I think you will enjoy OKW and the carriage. We were lucky enough to stay at OKW before and love it there, also we have found that time of year to be our favourite time to go. Am really looking forward to this trip as I think due to school this might be our last opportunity for October/November for a while.

This will be our first trip to WDW and I am so excited to be staying onsite at OKW. :goodvibes

I booked a carriage ride and can't remember the date. Evidently the did not send an email confirmation. When I call, it says hold time is 15 minutes. Is the Disney activities line open 24 hrs?

It doesn't come up on my "my Disney" list of reservations (even tho I paid for it when I booked).
