Well of course you disagree. You can claim that all you want is to be convinced, but there is no convincing you. You've decided that you're going to back Bu$h no matter what the evidence is.

Btw, I think that fighting for an impossible cause, letting thousands of American soldiers die and be maimed for a supposed cause that can't be attained is plenty of reason to oppose something.

The "need to admit" as you call it is simply the ability to admit you were wrong when faced with the overwhelming evidence. Otherwise, you're just a follower.

If I thought for a nanosecond that this was anything closely resembling a legitimate discussion, I would gladly jump in.

This is another favorite tactic of the right when they have forgotten to read their morning talking points....it's just not worth it, right?

Allow me to summarize your argument: I hate Bush; I hate neo-cons (whoever or whatever they are); I have no solutions to offer, only hate. It's not MY problem because I voted for "the other guy" (who, BTW, also had no solutions, but that's ok because he hated/hates Bush as much as I do).

The left/Dem strategy of "fear and loathing" has not realized any success (with the notable exception of President Clinton who deftly side-stepped that strategy) in over a decade. You'd think with all the brain-power available to the opposition they could come up with something new. I knew you're a guy, I was just trying to get you to answer one of my posts and figured that it might flush you out. I was starting to believe that you might really have me ignored for some reason!! Mission Accomplished!

Now if you go back and read post #113, you will see my take, if you will, of what the Bush Administration should do. You now have a liberal, left wing response as to what we could do better and a solution to ending the war in Iraq. Now you cannot say that all we do is complain about the war and offer no solutions. Do you think the the President's "Stay the course" battle plan is best, or would you attempt a differnet course of action?

I sometimes tune in to Rush now and then just to see what drivel he's spouting. I can honestly say, today is the first time I actually enjoyed listening to him!

That little pin head of his was just about to burst! He's about to blow because of Chuck Hagel's comments but he's having a hard time attacking a conservative Republican Senator who was a decorated Vietnam vet.

Apparently his new attack on the left is to say that sure, Bu$h has screwed it all up and yeah, so what we're losing in Iraq, but do you really want liberals taking over?

T_M... You keep asking for solutions from us keyboard jockeys. Well, this Libertarian keyboard jockey offered one back on page 5 or 6 yet you have not responded to it as to its merits. In fact you act as if it was never presented.

Now on yesterday's Meet The Press, Sen. Feingold proposes almost the exact same solution as mine. Great minds think alike. He says set 12/31/2006 as a deadline for troop withdrawal attaching milestones to it just as been stated by Bush, ie. Constitution, Elections, etc. Feingold stated that this was done in the past, ie. turnover of soverignty, etc. so why not do it again. To him this would result in an incentive for the Iraqi's to get their act together since at a definite point in the future US troops will no longer be there to prop them up. Moderator asked what won't that give insurgents reason to lay low until we leave. Feingold answered will if that happens then there will be some peace and quiet to get the job of training and reconstruction done as originally planned by Bush. A win situation for US.. no more attacks on troops and Iraq gets reconstructed. Another question to Feingold was what happens if Iraq does not meant its mark by 12/31/2006? The senator's response was if we need another month or two (something short-term and finite) then just like last weeks deadline got postponed 1 week he could see the need for similar flexibility on the withdrawal deadline.


Now back to Bush what is his response to all calls for setting a time-table of ANY LENGTH. Just STAY THE COURSE. In plain english let the insurgents, the majority of which are Iraqi Sunni's as admitted by US military, continue to kill our troops and innocent Iraqi civilians.


You now have my solution, Senator Feingold's solution and Bush's solution. Which would you choose and why or do you have your own?

What he was whining for was posted a long time ago. He's had plenty of time to post his jabs and insults, he should have had time to read the posts that he complains aren't there.
