The last day I was at WDW (Sept 24th) the turnstyle at EPCOT decided to eat my AP. Really it just tore the edges, but the CM told me to go to guest services to get a new one. The CM gave me a new one. It says annual pass and has the correct January 2006 expiration date, but the number on it is different and the issue date is Sept 24, 2005.

Anyway I've always had trouble with the passholders' web site. I've never been able to access it from my home computer and there are only two computers at work that will let me in, but since I've came back even they wouldn't let me in. I've tried both the new number and my old number without success. Lo and behold, I just tried with my new number and it lets me in. Sort of. It says my name and then says my 'SEASONAL PASS' will expire Oct 17, 2005. What the heck! I don't live in Florida and have never had a seasonal pass. My annual pass expires in January not October. I went ahead and tried to book using BRP, but it says I must have a 'valid' adult annual pass. Well dag nab it, I have one. Their stupid site just won't take it.

I used the BRP rate to get our rooms in Dec, but want to book another trip for Jan 2nd-Jan 8th. My 60 days will be up in about a week, but I can't get into the site. I'm going to call WDW tomorrow to find out what's going on with my AP and why the site says it's a seasonal Florida pass with an Oct expiration date, but meanwhile could someone please check the BRP for POP for Jan 2nd-8th and maybe send me some pixie dust that I can get this straightened out by the weekend so that I can book it. Thanks for letting me vent!

I have been trying to get into the AP site tonight and it keeps telling me my login is invalid. I was on earlier. The site may be having issues right now. I'll check again in the morning and if you don't have the rates yet, I'll post if for you.

Issues? You're not kidding! After refusing to let me in for almost two months, it can't tell the difference between a Florida Seasonal Pass that expires in Oct and a regular Annual Pass that expires in January? :confused3

Thanks for volunteering to look up the BRP for me. I really appreciate it! I'm just hoping that the CM who issued me my new AP in Sept didn't mess up. The back of it says AP and has the correct expiration date though. Besides I still have my receipt and a copy of my old AP, so I'm not too concerned about getting it replaced again in Dec if I need to. However I am concerned about being able to book the BRP for my trip in early Jan. I'll have to book it this week, if that stupid passholders' site ever lets me into the correct area.

By the way it looks like we'll be at the POFQ at the same time. We're there Dec 9th-13th and then will be switching over to CSR on the 14th. Another DIS member will also be there at the same time. We're going on an Illuminations cruise with them on Dec 10th.

If you're having problems with the AP site, I'd suggest calling the special BRP phone #: 407-939-7429. The CM's will be able to get rate info, book rooms @ BRP rate, etc. Not sure if they can help with the AP # problems you're having, but if not maybe they can suggest who you should call. It's such a hassle when you have to get a new AP - why can't they just re-issue it with your same AP # ????? (I just had that problem earlier this month!) :confused3

Pop's available for your dates with BRP $394.80 I also checked POR & its $662.40. Good luck with your AP.

POP checking in on 1/2/06 our on 1/8/06 total $394.80.

HTH and let me know if you need any other dates/resorts checked.

Thanks guys, you're the greatest. I called yesterday about my AP and after being transferred to a couple of people, they had no idea how I logged on as a Florida Seasonal Passholder. One CM did say that there were 12 other people in the system with my same first and last name and maybe I just accidentally hit one number/letter off when I typed in my AP number and it was just enough to log into someone else's AP. Sounds far fetched and fishy to me though. The funny thing is that according to her, my new AP expires in March 2006. I told her I knew it expired in January 2006 and it said so on the back of both the new pass and my copy of the old pass. She then asked for both numbers again (old pass and new pass), put me on hold, and finally came back and said I was right it expired in Jan '06. She told me as long as the pass said Jan '06 and I had both my receipt and a copy of my old pass I should be OK when I go back in Dec, but said I would probably have to get another AP when I got there in Dec. She gave me a phone number to call and said that if I called between 2pm and 5pm that I could book the BRP on the phone for my Jan trip. I don't have it in front of me at the moment, but it may be the same number that RachelTori posted.

Anyway thanks again! It looks like I'll be in WDW Dec 9th-18th with my mom, come back home to celebrate the holidays for two weeks, then be taking my GD back as a Christmas present the first week in January. Can't wait!

The "I hate the new system" club welcomes you ;) We barbecue on Wednesdays and bowl on Saturdays!

Glad you got it figured out, though! :grouphug:

Hey, I still don't like the AP website, but I got POP for $59.00/night for Jan 2-8th. I've got no complaints with that deal! :cool1: I'll be at POFQ and CSR Dec 9th-18th, back home for two weeks, then back to POP Dec 2nd-8th. My AP expires Jan 9th so I'll be able to squeeze one more trip out of it.

I also called today and was doing so good getting all the ADRs I wanted that I asked the CM to check for PSB and CRT. I couldn't get either one for breakfast but was able to get dinner at PSB for our first night and lunch at CRT for Jan 4th. I also got breakfasts at Donald's, 'Ohannas, and Crystal Palace, as well at ADRs at the Brown Derby (lunch), Sci-Fi (dinner), Rainforest Cafe (dinner), House of Blues (lunch), Planet Hollywood (dinner). So excited! I can't wait to see my GD's face Christmas when she finds out she's going to WDW again.
