My almost 2 year old DD HATES to wear hats - as soon as I put one on her she rips it right off! However, last summer she would keep on the kind with the strap that snaps underneath the chin. Does anyone know where I could find a hat like this? For the life of me I can't remember where I bought it! Or if anyone has any suggestions of a hat that your child was more likely to keep on I would appreciate it.
Thanks in advance!

I was just looking at hats at Walmart a couple weeks ago but because my dd LOVES LOVES LOVES hats she is always wearing them all over the house too. Anyway they have the straps on some of the hats I saw there.

It started as stealing daddys hat so maybe she can have opportunity to "steal" your hat. :rotfl:

Oh and you could always add your own strings with velcro or to just tie.

My DD is almost 2 and has the same issues with ripping hats off of her head. I bought one at Old Navy and it has a chin strap with velcro. She didn't like it to begin with but now she loves it and will put in on by herself.
I think it was like $6 and they had pink, dark blue, khaki and white (I bought pink). Hope this helps

Maybe if you & she buy a plain hat & decorate it together. (maybe some fabric paint or a disney transfer/decal. I saw some plain hats at Joanne fabric today.

I think I found some for dd3 when she was younger at Old Navy!!! Maybe Kohls as well. They are out there, you will just have to keep looking. Also, I used to buy "big girl" hats for my dd (she seems to need the larger sizes).
