Has your DH fallen asleep on any rides at WDW?

My husband is SO relaxed when we are on vacation that he has been known to fall asleep on pretty much any ride/attraction that involves sitting down... POC, Small World, Hall of Presidents, carousel of progress, Ariel's under the sea adventure... It can be a little embarassing if he starts snoring... :scared: Just wondered if anyone else had this 'problem'?

My DH? How about our WHOLE family! The combination of hot, humid Florida in July plus lack of sleep. Add to that a nice dark theater with cool AC and you have the makings of a great nap place. This was the Hall of Pres that did us in. And while I ashamed that we fell asleep in such a patriotic place we were all felt much better after that nap!
Sad to say we had plenty of company and lots of snoring going on....

The hall of presidents I can kind of understand (unpatriotic I know but the AC, the dark and the opportunity to sit down for a while...) but can anyone explain how he manages to fall asleep on Pirates of the Caribbean??? :confused3

Hubby and bro both fell asleep on Hall of Presidents(and snored!:scared1: ) I don't know how your hubby falls asleep on POC. Maybe because it's dark and cool and the boat ride is soothing?:confused3 Side note on POC. It's one of my 3 yr. old's favorite rides. His favorite part is the dirty footed guy on the way out above head. To this day(7 mos. later)he still talks about him clutching the "honey" pot(must be mixing in WtP too) and how his mom's going to be mad that he got dirty and he needs a bath!:lmao:

My DBF fell asleep on Voyage of the Little Mermaid.

I've nodded off in Ellens Energy Adventure 45 minutes in ac and its dark. What more can a guy ask for beside a cold one.:lmao:

After being up since 4 AM (mostly DH driving to the airport) and a 2 1/2 hour plane ride (DH does not fall asleep on planes) - we went to EPCOT as soon after we checked into our resort.
Nice A/C ride, no long lines - Ellens Energy Adventure - Yes DH fell asleep.
His head was on my shoulder, so it looked more like we were (and yes we are) in love. Our kids never noticed. I nudged DH awake before it ended.

Our lesson - if we have to be up at 3 AM for a plane flight to WDW - relax at the resort pool if the room is not ready and let DH sleep in the shade!:rotfl:

I will be going to WDW this month for the first time and i am notorious for falling asleep at the wrong times. So reading some of the posts scares me because i am a bad snorer and would hate to embarras my family!

Well I thought maybe it was just my Husband! Glad to know that he has plenty of company :)

Actually DH has been blessed with the ability to fall asleep anywhere, anytime. I, on the other hand cannot sleep on a plane and generallly have to be somewhere for three nights before I can fall asleep. Always have a good book with on vacation and take "cat naps" in DH's faves ... Hall of Presidents, American Adventure, Ellen;s Energy Adventure, Honey I Shrunk the Audience, Carousel of Progress, etc. etc. etc. Survival tactics! :3dglasses

Our family always jokes that the Carosel of Progress is the best place to take a nap. It is dark and has a great AC not to mention all that soothing music. Don't get me wrong I love the attraction but I also love me a nap.

Me and DBF fell asleep while watching the movie part in One mans dream at DHS. Good nap.
