When my dd was a baby, she reared back and butted her head into my nose. She gave me a bloody nose.:teeth: She also busted one of my eardrums with a k-tip. That hurt. Last night, my ds threw a walkie talkie on the couch and it landed on my nose. About another inch over and I would've had a black eye.:teeth: I've got a nice bruised and cut nose right now from it though.

Ummm, yes, several times. Not too long ago she accidently punched me in the nose in her sleep.

When one was a baby she was crawling on the couch and fell off. Or almost fell off. She grabbed ahold of my hair and was hanging on for dear life. I'm tender headed so that was even worse.
My mom was laughing as she finally came to my rescue.

my mom still has a scar on her eye where I threw my bottle at her because she forgot to put sugar in it, or so Im told

Just last week my DD hit my ankle with the grocery cart. Had a bruise for days.

dd accidentally poked me in the eye when she was 16 months old, and actually cut my iris with the corner of her fingernail! i had to have it numbed and patched daily for a few days, no driving, etc. i was dumbfounded at the time; how could this beautiful little thing have caused so much pain? she's 14 now, and the eye was a breeze compared to teendom!

The baby hurt me just the other night but it was due to my DH.
I was sitting in a chair in the living room with the laptop on my lap (of course).
He was bringing the baby to my face for a kiss. And I started telling DH to watch out that the baby will grab at the screen. DH says the baby's fine he just wants to kiss you. And with that the baby pushes the top of the screen down backwards and flatens it out straight and it pinched my thigh and got stuck.
It actually broke the skin. I let out a little yelp and DH finally gets baby off of the laptop so I can raise the screen to release my leg from it. Ouchy wawaaaa!!

My son almost knocked me out cold with a broom when he was young. He was 'sweeping' and swung around and got me right in the side of my head with the handle. I saw stars for a few minutes.

My son threw his sippy cup full of milk and hit me in the eye, I had a black eye for a few days. The funny thing about it was the way people look at you especially when it was just me and my husband out and about;)

we were going through yellowstone and he was sitting on his dads lap and he threw his head back and hit dad in the mouth and his front two teeth are dead because of it and they are a black color that has to be painted over almost every year.

Each of our three kids has split my lip at least once when they were toddlers. Those sudden head jerks can be vicious!

I've been head-butted with a bloody nose, too.

The best was when I was a kid tho. My Mom got WAY too close during a backyard baseball game and, I whacked her square in the nose with a whiffle bat. You may not think a whiffle bat hurts but, I had a mighty swing and, her nose ended up swolen and, she had 2 black eyes!

I was so upset, I ran upstairs and just cried. :(

Oh yes....a couple times. Youngest dd poked me in the eye with a hairbrush when she was little. She was trying to "make mommy look pretty.";) :)

One time, I was going to kiss my nephew goodbye on the top of his head. When I went to kiss him, he jumped up in the air, and whacked right into my mouth, putting a gash so deep in my inside lip that it required stiches and antibiotics to clear it up. That was not fun.

My girls love to abuse dh and I on almost a daily basis:eek:

I remember one story with dh... oldest dd (was abt 1 at time) banged the bedroom doom on his head (he was lying on the floor) and hit him hard enough in the right space to get stitches.

I've also gotten quite a few brusises from toys thrown.

About 2 years ago when my DD was 14 she hugged me and picked me up - she she did I heard a "pop" - she had broken 2 of my ribs!!!!

Not very long ago, we took DS3 to the movies. At the concession stand I leaned over the top of DS's head to point out the candy to him through the glass and at that moment he decided to jump up --- right into the bottom of my chin. It hurt so bad I had tears coming out of my eyes and the room began to sway. For weeks afterwards I had a bruise on my chin. I can still vividly remember that pain. OUCH!
