Has WOC ever been canceled?

We are going to be at DLR this weekend with my daughters girl scout troop. The weather is supposed to be pretty bad. We had planned on doing WOC on Friday, but we were wondering if WOC might be canceled due to the weather. Has anyone heard of it being canceled because of bad weather?

WoC has been cancelled a handful of time for mechnical reasons. I'm not sure it was been closed due to weather effecting the show. Remember rain doesn't effect WoC only wind. WoC is much more tolerant of wind than RDCT and F! are.

When we went in February it was really windy the 2 Wednesdays we were there. One of the days we went to pick up our WOC picnic and they told us that if the wind didn't die down the show would be canceled for the evening. They said it didn't happen very often, but it was possible. They told us heavy rain wouldn't effect it though, just the wind. Fortunately for us, the wind went away and the show went on.

We were also there at the end of February. We had waited around in pretty heavy rains for an hour before the show was scheduled to start. The CMs in the area said they expected the show to go on as scheduled, but the wind started to pick up right before showtime. They delayed it once, and then started the show about fifteen minutes late. Unfortunately it was cancelled a few minutes in. It was the wind that prompted the cancellation.

Thanks everyone for the responses..I hope it all turns out ok. It is the first trip to DLR for three of the girls in the troop and I just want them to experience as much as possible. Who knows when they will be able to return. Wish us luck!
