Has this upgrade scenario ever happened?

Is it possible to be upgraded from 2 connecting cat 10s into 1 cat 4? There was a person who made a post that said this happened but how can they do this. I wouldn't mind but I think some people would be disappointed to be giving up so much space.
Is there a way that maybe they ask you if they can "up"grade you this way.

On our first cruise we were upgraded from two GTY Cat 11 rooms to two Cat 4 rooms. We here traveling with six in our party.

Oh fortierv- you were the guy I was talking about that I saw the post about being upgraded from 2 cat 11s- I didn't realize you got 2 cat 4s, I thought maybe they upgraded you to 1 cat 4.- That rocks- Yeah- I just saw Heidi's good news- I can't imagine how excited she must be.-
Oh Genie- I saw your post on the other thread about the "families of 5 or more get a break" that it was a joke- Sometimes I am not too swift, and I don't pick up on the subtle- and BTW if that guy Dean thinks I complain alot- how do you think my poor husband feels- ha ha
