I'm just a little upset over the events of the last week but was just about over it until this morning!! Here's just a quick run down of events... Had ressies at POR, changed to WL, then changed last week to Pop Century (unless room only codes come back!!). Anyway...last week I called and changed my ressies from WL to PC. The CM I talked to told me she couldn't transfer the existing funds from my WL ressie to the new PC ressie. She told me I would be reimbursed the same way I paid (1/2 check and 1/2 VISA). I have been watching my bank account for the awaited transfer. It came yesterday. However, after examining the account, not only did they give me my refund, they deducted the exact same amount back out of my account!! I called first thing this AM and could not get anywhere, as they do not show anymore money transfered to any ressie that I have. They only show where the refund was given and nothing more. I wouldn't have minded so much if they applied it to my PC ressies (that was what I was hoping happened), but the CM was very adement that there has been no additional money added to that ressie. She did give me the name and fax number of a CM in guest relations who is supposed to be looking into this matter for me. I printed out and faxed a copy of my transactions where it showed both entries. Hopefully, someone will be able to tell me where my money has gone!!

Sorry this was so long....

Sherri, so sorry this happened to you. I had a problem like this happen to me years ago (not with disney) and now I always use a credit card - it is so much easier to dispute things with a credit card company instead of having to worry about bouncing checks. Good luck, I hope you get it straightened out soon :)

Ugh! What a pain for you! Sorry to hear that happened & I hope you get it straightened out soon.

I changed my ressies last month from AKL to YC and had my deposit transferred with no problems at all. I wonder why they're giving you such a headache over it?!

Another thread about Disney and money problems. I know it will get worked out, don't worry too much, be proactive.

As stated in the other post, labeled "WHY do these thing always happen to me?" keep on top of it and keep names and extensions for whomever you talk to. The original poster said she still hasn't received a return phone call, so you are going to have to be on your toes.

The other post does get a little heated as everyone has opinions. I do recommend reading through it though, so you know what issues you are up against.

Good Luck, pixie dust for a successful transition on the transaction!:teeth:

I've found that, when there's an electronic transfer error, the most efficient way to deal with it is to call the bank the funds came out of. My bank (Bank One) has credited my account for the disputed amount and then dealt with the hassle on the other end. I generally call the offender and let them know that I've contacted my bank to avoid negative consequences. (Once my mortgage company debited my account twice for the same amount. It was lucky I had some extra in the checking account that month.) Good luck!

I just delt with the yesterday. After much frustration the problem worked it out at the end of the posting day for the bank. So stay calm. I was so worked up that I made things worse. It turned out to be a bank error. I called the Disney Store back and apologized to the manager because I felt so bad. I have learned that if it is on Disney's computer they will credit you immediately. I tend to think alot of time these errors are the bank or the middle person that processes these. So much pixie dust your way, things will work out.
