Today, I went into a Swarovski store and as I was looking at some jewelry I noticed a Mickey necklace with one of the Mickey's made out of swarovski. The store manager asked me if I wanted to look at it and told me it was made to celebrate Disneyland's 20th anniversary !!!! I told him you mean 50th and he told me with a snotty attitude that he was certain it was for it's 20th anniversary. At this point, I was ready to give him a Disney history lesson, but, then I decided to let it go and walked out of the store laughing and amazed that he was trying to sell me the necklace with made up anniversary information. I figured I had to let it go, some people just know it all!!

I would have left and gotten something that said 50th celebration and went back and said to the guy "I would like to see that necklace for the 20th anv." and accedently drop the info that had the 50th anv info and say "would you look at this. I love the # 50. What things go with 50. Half a decade, Half a dollar, the celebration...."

Oh man, if I was given a snotty attitude, I SO would have loved to put him in his place with the truth. There's such a satisfying feeling at making the "way too proud" getting the trruth frrom someone they think doesn't know it.

I think we need to hand out DIS business cards...he could come to the boards and get the correct info, lol! Can you see us all with our DIS business cards out to save those poor souls that don't have a clue...
