Has this been posted yet? Free Photo in real life at Expedition Everest ?!

Thanks Vellamint! Just printed mine out for my DD to use during her trip to WDW in a couple of weeks! :cool1: :thumbsup2

I did read about this previously, but just managed to get the coupon tonight. We go at the end of Sept so I'll be able to use it just before it expires!

ARGH!!!

Twice I have gone all the way to the end only to have NO COUPON!!

First time my computer froze up and had to restart the whole thing....second time...simply did not get a coupon!!

Any suggestions on what I am doing wrong?

Thanks

Awesome! My DD really likes to play Yeti so I am going to give her some computer time today!

I just got the prize link but it won't let me print.

FYI - I was prompted that updates were available. After I downloaded the updates and signed into the game, I got the notice of a bonus prize. I did not have to play any levels.

I have a solution!

I made Explorer my default. Then I right clicked on Yetivision and went to properties, then clicked on "find target". There was a Explorer file that said something like "photoprize". I clicked on it and it was my file!

Cool! Thanks for posting this!! I was planning on buying our Everest photo (we collect ride photos) - now I get it for FREE! Woot!

If anyone has one of these they are not going to use, could I be a mooch and ask you to PM me? I have been trying all evening and can't get my computer to cooperate with the game! TIA!

lol on every vmk board that i posted this everyone stole my thread this stinks.. lol

So sorry Nanoer!! I guess your thread got pushed to where it wasnt seen.....

I finally was able to get this to print....dont even ask me how.....I tried a bunch of different things. I did find it as "photo prize" under the properties section of the game but was unable to do it that way. I did have to sign in with my Disney.com ID and password.

Just a dumb question: is the "ride photo" one of those pictures of you and your group ON the ride, or is it some sort of "commemorative photo" of the Expedition Everest ride by itself?

And, although this next question should be posted in the other forum, is there anybody gifting these coupons / is there a gifting thread in the other forum, fo poor, sad, Mac users who can't play the Yeti game?

POOR poor Be!!

I believe it is of you actually ON the ride...."Congratulations on completing all three episodes of Yeti Vision, the Everest Quest. Because of your picture-perfect expedition, you have earned a free 5x7 photo of yourself experiencing Expedition Everest - Legend of the Forbidden Mountain."

Darn, I guess this means I ought to try being nice to you, so I can then later beg you to get me one of those coupons...

Oh, did I say that out loud? Oops.

;)

this is cool- if I can get the game to give me the coupons- I plan to give one to each of my nieces- both graduating high school this year and both taking Senior trip to WDW!!!

Oh Be!! You MUST be nice to me anyways....lol (or I will Get you!!)

If I figure out how to get more than one you are more than welcome to it but I read somewhere else that it is impossible? to get more than one? I know the computer I originally did the quest on did not give me my coupon and DID NOT allow me to try again even after clearing cookies and history.......the coupon I did eventually get was from the other computer that the kids used to play the game...they must have won and just never collected the prize. If anyone has a work-a-round to this please post!!

one of the mods stole my thread about this on vmk magic and now their is a rule for no plagrism.. irony is everywhere..

OK, I must have done something wrong. Thought this was going to be a simple thing, but apparently not for me. When I opened Yeti just now, it said to click for my bonus prize of a free photo (didn't have to play the game at all). Once I typed in my user name and password, it just went dead - nothing popped up at all... So I closed it all, and started over. This time I played the game, but just got the code for VMK - nothing at all was mentioned about the ride photo. Bummer!

Edited to add: Well, I guess I must have blown it because now I just logged in again and it said it had already given me the the free photo certificate!! GR!! So I am out of a free photo now...

I will join my friend Be in asking for a gifted certificate. :teeth: Is there anyone that could print this certificate, but doesn't have a trip planned? Thank you!!

By the way, this is the best way to do it (printing it).

A wonderful person tried to email me the prize certificate saved from their internet browser, but unfortunately, the HTML (web page code) contains only "relative links" to images, so the certificate can NOT be viewed, because none of the images can be retrieved.

Bottom line: the only way to "share" certificates would be to:
- print it and snail mail it
- do a screen shot, and then email the screen image
- do NOT bother trying to save the source from your web browser
