Has there been any chatter about discounts for December?

I've been helping a friend with a trip for September and now they've had to change plans to have their trip to mid-December.

Has there been any chatter about discounts or pins for mid-December?

Check out the Dec 2012 code watch thread, there's hope we'll see a good discount or promotion but nothing yet.
