Color me very confused.
I have a copy of Birnbaum's 2004 with rates and seasons, and it is noted in that that the prices therein are subject to change.
I would assume that Disney's own online website would be current in its descriptions of rates and seasons, but I'm noting conflicting information there.
For brevity's sake, I'll note just one example:
I was checking the rate for one night at Pop Century, checking in September 11. According to Birnbaum's and the section on Pop Century on Disney's site, this date falls within what is considered "value season." On this same page, Disney's site (as well as Birnbaum's) indicates that rates begin at $77 per night (w/o taxes) at this time for a non-preferred, standard view. However, when I go to get a quote for that date and that view (yes, I scrolled down and selected the "standard view" option and hit "update this offer"), I am quoted something like $85 per night and some change (w/o taxes).
What's up with this? Anyone know? Have prices and/or seasons changed recently and Disney just hasn't gotten its entire site updated? Or am I just making some silly mistake somewhere that's keeping me from pulling up the "low end" rate for this resort (and some others, I believe, as well).
Incidentally, the other day I noticed that on the Poly Resort page, Disney's site was showing that a lagoon view was cheaper than a garden view. As I'm pretty sure that's incorrect, I hope Disney soon corrects this type of misinformation.
So much for short.

Any help/info/comments will be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!
