Has the entertainment at Epcot been reduced?

We have a trip next month, and even if the entertainment schedule is not fully set, I usually get a sense of the times of the entertainers at Epcot by looking at the upcoming weeks. Usually, you can get a sense of how it will be by looking at weeks 3-4 weeks out.

It looks like Matsuriza (Japan drummers) are only on at 11am, 12pm, and 1pm in July, the Voices of Liberty are only on at 11:15 AM, 12:00 PM, and 12:45 PM. And the big one, the Music of Mexico (Mariachi Cobre / Marimba de las Americas) is not on at all? Is this correct? I know F&W is happening, but in the past, they've had this entertainment and F&W taking place.

I’m not sure where you’re looking but hopefully the MDE app will help as there is far more than you’re seeing.

- Open MDE App
- click upsidedown teardrop at bottom of screen
- change left drop-down to Epcot
- change centre option to ‘Entertainment’
- change right drop-down to ‘show list’

Select the entertainment you’re looking for.

We will be there July 4 week and they don’t even have MK parades on the schedule yet for that week. They only list the Epcot forever fireworks and nothing Independence Day specific although they have had the MK firework show listed for July 3&4 for awhile now. I know typically Epcot shows the holiday fireworks after their usual show in July 4. I keep checking daily because I have already scheduled lunch on MK days and really want parade schedule. They only have one fantasmic show listed too. Maybe it will only be one. Idk. But they seem to be waiting a very long time to update for our week.

@MinnieMSue - they do seem to be waiting a long time! I was also wondering if the parade was going for refurbishment because it's not listed at all 3 weeks from now.

I'm looking in the Entertainment section of the MDE app at the first couple of weeks in July, which is less than a month away, and only see a few of the Matsuriza and the Voices of Liberty performances (only 3 per day and only in the early part of the day). I don't see any of the Music of Mexico listed at all in either June nor July.

Yes I agree with you that it is very odd. Idk if they are trying to figure out crowd levels - maybe they are way off expectations? No idea. But I planned around the two parade times like in June but a 3pm only parade will mess me up. I very much hope it is not taking a hiatus. It isn’t listed as closed. I just think it is odd that they have not scheduled things. I am glad I am not the only person who has noticed this. I was thinking it was just me looking in the wrong place
