Yes, the D IS has changed my mind about refillable mugs, pool hopping, taking my crockpot to Disney and sharing sodas.

Dang it! You stole my answer! Of course, you don't say if the DIS has convinced you to doo all of these things or NOT to do them......

I have also learned about the possiblities of having 5 in a room for 4, bringing my 3 year old and saying he is 2 and a few other techniques. Not saying if I have changed my mind either way in order to protect the innocent.

(I have no idea why I put Yoda there. I have got to visit the smilie page more often. Who the heck is that little clown dude?)

Exactly!! Of course, you have to feel sorry for the people who come and ask some of this stuff as an innocent question.

Ooooh, I thought of another one--I have realized I should never ever leave my children with a sitter while on vacation. I will most definitely scar them for life if I even think about wanting time alone with their dad.

I never did figure out who is suppose to put that little divider down at the grocery store -
ther person with their stuff already on the belt or the person after (I always put it up for the person behind me)

It was great!! She won so many things!! You know at this age they gamble with things, not money. Why is my lighthouse collection looking bare?

That might be a good way to clear out some of those things you have randomly hanging around! We did a white elephant gift exchange at church for Christmas and were supposed to bring one gift for each of us (DH and I) MAN, did I want to bring in like 5 things! One of the couples brought in a case of Mr Freezee bars and a case of motor oil. We got the Mr Freezies, but I would have preferred the motor oil.

I suggested to some folks over on the budget board who have been bickering all day about ebay rules that they should check out this thread. None of them have been here yet, but I think they need to read it.
