Started snowing this afternoon and we ended up with a dusting to 1/4 of an inch here in Newport, NH. Roads are a little slick with the melted ice from yesterday's freezing rain re-freezing on the roads tonight.

Yes Thanksgiving day, what started out as light flurries turned to ice. :headache:

No snow yet, but maybe soon?

No snow here in Florida...oh wait! There have been snow flurries reported on Main Street in the Magic Kingdom and in the area of the Osborne Spectacle of Dancing Lights at Hollywood Studios!

I live in Eastern WA we had our first snow fall a wk ago. Monday we had a blizzard warning. It snowed like crazy & then got so cold. Wednesday morning when we woke up it was -18. It snowed yesterday & today.

I was surprised that there was no snow for the Reno/Boise game - looked cold though.

We got snow last December here in the Bay Area, while we were in WDW, so we missed it. (We rarely get snow, although there is a 2800 ft "mountain" near us that gets snow most Winters.)

I live about an hour from Reno - but at a higher elevation. The "town" where I live doesn't have a lot of snow either - just us up in the mountains. Our weather says two or three days of sun, two or three days of snow for the next couple of weeks. I'm really hoping for a pretty white Christmas

A few flurries on my way to work yesterday 9 am but no one else saw them so I'm being accused of hallucinating due to over-medicating my cold:laughing:

Nope. It's 30 deg C (86 deg F) here today and not a cloud in the sky. Should be pretty much the same (or a bit warmer) for the next four months before we start getting the occasional rain shower. ;)

We did, however, have a freak snowfall on October 29th (that would be like having snow at the end of April in San Francisco). It only stayed on the ground for an hour or two, though, before it all melted away. We had a really cool spring because of El Niño, so we're all excited to finally have some summer weather!

Nope, not a flake. It's been colder than normal, but no moisture. It's supposed to be a La Nina winter here which means drier than normal. Considering we're in the desert and we've been pretty dry even when they predict an El Nino winter (meaning wetter than normal), we are probably in for a very dry winter.

GO AWAY with your Artic Wind Chill... WE DONT WANT YOU!!!

Thought we were getting away with it quite well until tonight....it's forecast to snow, and it is here, for the next 6 hours, then later on tomorrow afternoon.

Go back to Russia, please!!!!!

I've only been catching bits and pieces of the weather, but I think we're supposed to have some snow tomorrow and Friday - then again next Monday and Tuesday.. (Upstate NY).. I haven't heard anything about significant accumulations though..

Give me snow on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and I'm good for the entire winter..:rotfl:

We live in the eastern part of Washington state (next to the Idaho boarder) and have been getting plenty of snow for the last week and a half.

Snowing like crazy now :headache:

I hear it will melt overnight, temps are warming up. I sure hope so.

I feel the same way C. Ann does, but me thinks we are in for lots of snow this winter.

No thank goodness. Last year we had a few sprinkles of snow, but before that, it was December of 1989! :yay:

We got over over 2 feet last night... that's why I'm on the Dis instead of at work :thumbsup2

My friend who lives about twenty minutes away has bare ground.

We had our first snow yesterday and last night but it was very light and only a little stuck. At least on the west side most of it is gone but I imagine the east side still has a lot. That is usually how it goes around here early in the winter.

I don't really mind it though as long as it isn't a blizzard and mess with my preparation for the WDW marathon. After January 6th it can snow all it wants.

We had snow on Thanksgiving:goodvibes it was so beautiful

I don't mind the cold if it snows but today it's just plain freezing, all the discomfort and none of the fun.
