Have you done anything now to make up for a past error in life?

I have. I found someone's name on missingmoney.com. When I look for myself, I also look for LOTS of people I know. I've found money in the past for my DFIL's mother.

OK; this time, it was for someone from my past that I probably shouldn't have been looking for ...but I was... & I found him some $. (less than $100)

After a few days, I decided the RIGHT thing to do, was notify him of it. So I printed the page, & mailed it to him. Unsigned.

That's a good thing.....RIGHT?

Karma will be nice to me I hope.

My DH and I were just discussing karma the other day. And whether you call it karma or the golden rule it is pretty much the same thing. Do nice things and hopefully nice things will happen to you and even if they don't you are a better person for it. At least thats what I think.

Oh and we really like the show.

I wasn't inspired by the show but I too was on our states unclaimed money and looked up my maiden name. I found a listing with an address that is close by but not related (well I suppose they could be related waaaaaay back in the line) and I too printed the info and mailed it to them unsigned.

Then I started trying out familiar names from around town (we have a tiny town) and found another I recognized. Sent that one's info to them unsigned also. I just felt if I called them out of the blue and said hey I just found you $1,000 they'd think either I was nuts or it was a scam.
