Has Liberty Tree changed? Still family style?

I am confused by looking at the menu on allears for LTT. I remember it being family style where they just bring big plates of the same food to all tables. Is it still this way? Do you order now? Is it still a good choice for kids 11,9 and 2 or should I book CP or somewhere else instead instead? (July 2010 trip.) I am thinking too many buffet will be hard with the baby.

They did change it for a while when the other character meal in the park was being updated but by the time of your trip lunch will be menu - it is so good though & dinner will be family style but there won't be any characters.

As the others stated, for lunch you order off the menu and dinner is still the family style thanksgiving dinner type meal. Neither has characters.

I agree with you about the buffets. The first time we did a character buffet, my kids were 6, 4, and 1 and I found it to be nearly impossible to enjoy. DH stayed at the table with the two youngest and I took my 6 year old up to help me load up plates. I felt like all I did was run back and forth to get food. We stayed away from buffets for 3 years after that! We finally tried again last summer and even though my kids were 9, 7, and 4 on our last trip, I still felt like I didn't have enough time for me to eat because I was busy helping the kids get their food. Between that and taking pictures with characters, I found it difficult.

LTT was probably our favorite meal last year though. All three of my kids requested it for our next trip.
