Has Jeff Dunham (ventriloquist) been on DCL??

The tennis ball guy is Michael Harrison. He was very funny. I would love to see Jeff Dunham on a cruise. :D

You are correct, that is his name. :thumbsup2 He was very nice. We saw him departing the ship at a port and he was very friendly. And he was funny.

You guys have totally reinstated my trust in my own memory:lmao: We had this exact discussion with some friends a couple of months ago. They have been on a few DCL cruises and insisted that there was no way I had seen Jeff Dunham on a DCL cruise. Well I gave up the argument because we have been known to cruise with other lines :rolleyes1(no flames please). Our kids are SOOO NOT allowed to watch comedy central:eek: and they remembered the line "on a stick" (all too well). So, I knew we had to have seen him on a ship. Glad someone asked the question. Now I can have a little confidence in my memory again

well after looking a past navigators I had I know he wasn't on any of my cruises in 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, and 2009. I could have thought I read his name somewhere about him on DCL. At least other people think he was on DCL as well, don't feel as crazy:lmao:

oh my Gosh!!!!!!
Is there anyway to know if/when he would be on DCL again?
I could get DH to go for a cruise rather quickly if we knew he was going to be onboard providing the entertainment. We love to watch his shows. He is hysterical.
My favorite is Peanut!
BTW how long ago was he on DCL?

Heres his website. www.onastick.com or www.jeffdunham.com Either one will work. The only way I know of to see if he is going on a cruise(anyone for that matter) to perform would be to check his schedule every so often. Hes on Facebook also, and gives updates. Id book a cruise I knew he was going to be on. Michael Harrison doesnt hold a match to Jeff. (Ive seen Michaels show on the Wonder)
Matter of fact I just looked and didnt see anything close to going on a cruise. Clossest I saw was when he is in Daytona Beach next year.

Makes sense at this point in his career I guess. He's very popular now, has his own show on comedy cent. When he came to philly a few months ago he played the wachovia center which holds like 15-17,000 people. So at this point, even though hes done it in the past, I wouldnt hold out too much hope for a venue of 2500 for 3-4 days versus playing places that hold 15k+ nightly but you never know?:confused3

ps, had to add.......Dun-hammmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm............Dot-commmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm lol

You never know. Boby Collins was on a different cruise line not long ago. Within the last 2 years.

When Jeff was here in the Orlando area, he palyed at the St Pete Time Forum, (Tampa Bay Lightning home) which is in the 20000 range. BUT They had closed a lot of the stadium off so everyone could see. Ive also seen him booked recently in several smaller venues, that hold maybe a 100-200.

The other ventriloquist I love is Ronn Lucas and Buffalo Billy.

ps San nata Ana HEY!

Alright, I may be out in left field here, but wasn't Michael Harrison discovered on Star Search w/ Ed McMahon? Maybe I've got my names mixed up, but maybe not. :confused3
Jeff is much funnier though. And Achmed could perform at the Adults only show that the entertainers do in the club. Then there wouldn't be any children. I think that would be doable.
And HiddenMickeys you forgot to add....
Jeff fa fa :lmao: before the dunhammmm dot commmmmm

HI there Dizzyworld. We're kinda neighbors!
We did your see him locally? I didn't see any advertisements for a show around here. Bummer....we probably would've gone to see him.

Hello Neighbors to the North (I feel like my DD's soccer life was played out in the Bel Air area)......Jeff was performing at First Mariner Arena in Baltimore in Oct. He also played York PA State Fair in Sept. I was considering buying overpriced tickets from a broker for my DS's 16 B-day. I decided to check Ticketmaster in July if there were any new shows added close by that we might get good seats at a better price, and found out he had added the Baltimore location. We bought seats for my son and serveral of his friends, a lot easier than a B-day party, and they had a ball. DH sat in a different section and loved the performance. So we now watch Jeff on his new show on Thursday nights.

Well yes, "Search your feelings Jeff fa fa" is my fave dunham line ever. lol Followed closely by "am I __ing you off fa fa?" :rotfl2:
Although I also love Achmed's "Over there, over there, and Up there." Really, they're all good.

You know, it's not just Achmed. Disney wouldn't look too kindly on walter calling people dumba______'s either. The shows with kids I mean. Just saying...

OMG--DS loves him! Our favorite is the Hummer and the Prius! Probably because I drive a Hummer! DS would die if he got to see him on DCL!

DD and I just watched the Jeff Dunham Christmas DVD again. My sides hurt from laughing so much.

Now that you mention it, I do remember seeing an ad (billboard, tv...don't remember) advertising him performing at the fair in York. But by then it was sold out. I didn't see him coming to 1st Mariner arena. :confused3 Maybe I was too preoccupied w/ getting ready for our trip? His show is pretty funny, I guess I'll have to get my fix using his show until he comes to town again. sigh....

I love the line where Walter says he could get a real job as a greeter at walmart:

"Oh, what would be your opening line?"

clears his throat "Welcome to Wal Mart, get your ____ and get out!"
"Have a nice day!"

Or Peanut:

"Jeff-fa-fa, DunHam, dot coooomm!"

Hi Sea Spray

How ya doin?
How about comedy central & for a little while they were talking about him having his own show.
Luv him to death.

Planning any more cruises?

Just got off the Wonder a week ago.

Planning to go with Colleen on the Dream Feb 27. If you ever heard of Lou Mongello he has a podcast & a radio show about Disney. He will be on there also.

Jill
