I lost a big battle with CVS mail order pharmacy. They sent the WRONG prescription. They had more reasons than I can remember for why it wasn't their fault and why they weren't going to refund my money or send the correct medicine for free.. Most galling to me was their claim that the actual prescription order is not kept, so they couldn't even look to see if they had filed the order correctly. Just easier for me to have a new prescription sent and pay the $10 co-pay.
My next favorite is them not closing the bottle properly, and I open the mailer and all 90 pills are inside the envelope and outside the bottle. One hole in the mailing envelope, and there would be pills all over the post office.
All I can figure is their prices are so low insurance companies prefer them. I mean, I have Cigna Health insurance, and had Cigna mail order pharmacy for years, but now Cigna uses CVS instead! Pretty bad when a competitor is cheaper for you start using them instead of your inhouse pharmacy.
