In light of the recent story on Yahoo!, "Does Disney Have a Mickey and Minnie Problem?", a thought I had a few months ago was suddenly re-ignited - is Mickey Mouse becoming irrelevant at Disney? Or is he already? Despite the way long overdue first ride coming, Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway, do kids have the Mouse at the forefront of their minds when a trip is upon them? Non-original Disney attractions are becoming more the norm it seems and one can only imagine what the next big thing may be?

No way , the little ones had Micky Mouse Clubhouse and they love that!

it just now we have so many options in the parks, like most of today’s generation , the passion for any one thing is usually diluted due to overwhelming choice and change on a daily basis.

My kids (12 and 9) love Mickey, but Goofy more. My son loves to watch Mickey's Racers even today.

We were watching a random Disney Cruise video last night on You Tube and when the videographer pans over and sees Capt. Mickey waving from a walkway overlooking the pool, the kids begin screeching "Mickeeeeey" in the background when they see him.

I think he and she hold a lot of relevancy even today.

My 2 year old grandson loves the Mouse but actually Donald more. I have to DVR all those shows so he has them when he wakes up.
