I made a reservation last week (when visa codes came out). I thought the CM said they would send a conformation e-mail. I have NOT received anything and I am now doubting what she said. Before I call I thought I would see if other have gotten something to confirm a reservation. Thanks!

They are supposed to send the email confirmation, however most of us have experienced them not doing this when we make/update a reservation. I personally have to call them back and request that they send me the email confirmation. This is the only time i actually get the email confirmation. It's unfortunate that we have to inconvenience ourselves to get the email confirmation, but to ensure that we have every email confirming our payment, it's no big deal; especially if the time should ever come up when you get to the front desk and they ask you to pay the balance owed on a supposedly already paid room/package.:scared1:

I am also still waiting on a confirmation email from Disney. I too had the Disney visa discount applied and was told I would be getting an email. I guess I will wait 'til this afternoon when they are less busy and call them to find out what the status of my configuration email.:)

I called and requested one. They did have my e-mail wrong. Hopefully it will come now with no problem. Not to be difficult but it seems if they were careful to put in the correct information to begin with it would save them and us a lot of trouble. Maybe my expectation of costumer service is too high. Hopefully all is good now, but it leaves me with a less than comfortable feeling about the whole reservation.

When we switched our ressie to the Visa Discount it took them awhile to send me the email. It took almost 24 hours . . .I don't know why:confused3 I called them 3 times during the day and questioned me not getting an email, and the next morning . . there were three emails with my confirmation . . .:lmao:

We've been to WDW 12 times in the last 10 years. This year was the first time I had ever gotten an e-mail confirmation of our reservation.

Never got one ever before. But this year after we changed to the dicount code I finally got one.

My last trip, I believe a requested an email confirmation 4 or 5 times. Each time, I was assured they would resend it. Well I never received it and it wasnt in any of my junk mail folders either.

Its bad enough not receiving one, but to be told over and over that it is one its way is very frustrating.

I have repeated my email addy to them over and over (it is the same as my handle) and without fail, each time I call, it is wrong again. :confused3

It is almost as if they are not SAVING the changes. LOL

I usually get an email confirmation within a couple hours, but last week when the AP codes came out, I booked my room at 8am and didn't receive the email until almost 8pm. I think they were just overwhelmed with the activity last week. I would definitely call and ask them to send you one.

I rebooked my original ressie last Thursday with the code and received the email confirmation about 2 hours later.

I have recieved a confirmation email everytime I changed something on my ressie. Even if I just added a note or request. Although, I do find that sometimes they have a mistake on them that I have to call for. Usually it is just an error on the email apparently because in their system everything is correct.

I received my email confirmation for my room within 12-15hrs. The CM asked me though if I wanted an email copy of my ressie.

Wow, we have never rec'd an e-mail. Even this year, I made my room only, and then a few weeks ago my package. Never was even asked if I wanted an e-mail confirmation number. I think as soon as the Jan/Feb 08 codes come out, I will make a special point of asking for the e-mail.

Update: I spoke to a great CM on Friday and when she went to confirm my email addy..the system showed my Login for Disneyworld.com as my email addy?? I told her no, and that it was really frustrating because I have given my correct email addys numerous times. She apologized and assured me she would make sure it was right this time. :thumbsup2

Well, guess what??? I finally got my first email conf!!! :cool1: Whats funny is, not only did I get 1, I received 14 of the same confirmation (14 separate emails). But hey, 14 is better than none!

In the past (and most recently just a couple of weeks ago), I've gotten my e-mail confirmation within an hour or two. Yesterday (mid-day), I rebooked my Xmas reservation (cancelling the first and making a new reservation). Not only have I not received an e-mail confirmation, but also I'm not able to pull-up my ressie using the confirmation number I was given. I have never had this happen before. I'm a little nervous about this for two reason. One, we gave up our Xmas reservation to make a new one during the busiest time of the year. Two, during our July trip, Disney tried to charge me full price rather than the AP rate I had at POR. If I hadn't had all my paperwork with me, I would have paid the difference -- not a small sum for a 10-day visit!

I have never got an e-mail confirmation. Even after once changing the dates and once adding the Visa discount. I have gotten a snail mail confirmation and I am able to pull up my reservation on the MY VACATION link.

Do you all think that is enough or should I call and ask for an e-mail confirmation too?

I wrote this on another thread too, but I too finally got my e-mail conf. It came under my husband's e-mail and name. How strange - I don't even know how they had his e-mail, he almost never uses it. Ugh... I was frustrated, and the info was not even correct. So called. Not surprised I didn't get a new e-mail!

I got an email about an hour after I made my Reservation and I printed it out, I have not recieved my in the mail confirmation yet.
