Has El Pirata y el Pericao been open this summer?

I really want to eat here on our Labor day trip. It has never been open during our trips. Was it open at all this summer?

We were there last week (7/26-8/2) and it was open while we were there.

That is encouraging! Dh thinks I am nuts to really WANT to eat here. But we have done the others at MK and I want to check this off the list. (And tacos sound like a nice change of pace.)

We ate there 3 weeks ago. Magnificent Taco salad, added salsa, lettuce etc. at the fixin's bar and it was plenty enough to share. Be aware, this place if open closes early, only open for the rush at noon, til about 2 or 2:30.

Labor Day is during free dining, so they may open it then.

I love that counter service. Some in our family get food from there and some from pecos bill and we all eat together. It was open the end of March!
