Has DL done DVC previews in the past?

We are planning a 5 day DL trip in September to visit SWGE, but I just found out that friends will be in SoCal at the end of May, so we are planning on meeting them there for a long weekend. I was daydreaming that there might be a DVC preview at this time and we would extend our trip this spring. I know there was a DVC preview for Pandora, but I haven't been able to find any references for DVC previews for Carsland or similar. Does anyone know if this has happened in the past? If so, I can keep daydreaming...

As DVC members, we've been invited to movie previews at DLR ... but not new lands. Even the Pixar opening was a paid preview (offered to everyone but a bit spendy).

Unfortunately DLR doesn’t do much for DVC members. Our AP discount is a measly $20 which they try to argue anyway. As PP mentioned, the Pixar Pier preview was ~$300/person. Speculation is that SWGE previews will be in the $500-$1000/person range.

On Wednesdays there is a Soarin’ tour DVC members can sign up for in advance.... But that’s about it.
