Has Disney branding gone too far?

I have always been big Disney World fan but My experience on the last two trips, October, 2019 and last week, a solo trip, has soured me to any shopping there. It is all about branding. I'm a working (retired) artist, now making jewelry and selling it consistently and look forward to seeing and buying jewelry from others. It is all branded. No items from independent sources. I used to love shopping at the jewelry store on Main St. and always bought some unique item when I went but now it is just product from the movies. Between the crowds in the parks on what used to be 'slow' times and the lack of creative items outside of the Disney brand I am pretty much finished with the parks and shopping there. I still do love the resorts though, so I will probably keep going, if just to be folded into that Disney bubble of well-being.
