Has Buzz Lightyear lost Fast Pass?

Keep hearing reports that Buzz Lightyear's Fast Pass machines have been turned off. Can anyone confirm? Is this a permanent closure? I love getting fast passes for Buzz because they never seem to run out and it always gets you on quick.

This week, the following rides have their FP turned off during the week....(probably on for weekend)....

Buzz Lightyear
Autopia
Big Thunder Mtn.

Tower of Terror
Grizzly River Run
Mullholland Madness

it's HOT today.....having it off for Grizzly was a bummer!

I may be out of the loop, but why close the FP machines? I figure they would do it when the FP's are unnecessary because of low crowds, but is it also a staffing concern (less CM to man just 1 queue instead of 2?)

i think it is because they are mostly not needed during slow periods.

we almost walked right on buzz yesterday at 4:30PM.....maybe a 5 min wait if that.

we waited 10 and 15 min. for big thunder mtn.

space was a walk on at 11:30, didn't even have the FP line open.

Also the Buzz FP machines were closed because the had that area blocked off because they were repaving the walkway throughout Tomorrowland. From what I've read they finished the repavement, so the Buzz FP's should open soon. Probably not until the weekend like the PPs said.

Also when we were there last week the lines for autopia were so short they started after the place where the fast pass riders and stand by riders merged! So even if they wanted to there was no way for them to implement a FP line!

It was turned off today but was on Sun-Tues

Wait times for Buzz last week (Sun-Thurs) were never more than 15 minutes, and most of the time it looked like walk-on.

Wow, short lines like that sound great! Wish I was there.

Definitely can't complain about short lines! I agree wish I was there to walk on to that many big time attractions. We are heading there the week after Thanksgiving, I hope the lines are still small!
