Has Boma breakfast Changed?

We remember our first stay at the AKL in 2001 when it was relatively new and having breakfast at Boma. The food choices were not the standard, eggs, bacon, waffles, etc, but very unique foods.

We had breakfast there yesterday morning and unfortunately there wasn't too much unique there any more. About the most was a few sauces for the ham and some plant protiens. Most of it was the standard american Buffet.

Luckly still could get their signature juice and Rooibus tea. Am I remember it wrong or has things changed on their breakfast menu? I thinking they had to adjust for the dining plan now and offer the cheapest foods possible.

We ate there twice last week (or 2 weeks ago) and loved it (it was our first time) and yes I think most of the food is your general every day breakfast food but the carved corn beef, turkey, ham and the corn beef casserole and biscuit casserole are things I have not seen at other WDW buffets.

I guess when you think about it how much can a breakfast differ? Each onsite buffet has a few different items but the majority is all the same. Cape May has apple blintz and bread pudding. 1900 Park Faire has the strawberry soup. Chef Mickeys has the veggie quiche thing and Crystal Palace has the breakfast lasagne and the puffed french toast. Other than that it is the same foods. Cannot wait to go back to Boma!

We went to Boma's breakfast buffet when they first opened and several times subsequent to that. No changes that we can remember. Maybe you're remembering Boma's dinner buffet rather than their breakfast?

Does Boma offer made to order omelets?

Yes, they do made to order omletes. They are yummy!! My DH insists on having breakfast there twice each trip.
