Has anything surf related been done?

I'm not even sure what I have in mind so I'm definitely not asking anyone at this point to do anything. I just thought that if something surf related had been done in the past and that someone could direct me to it I might get some ideas generating.

So, if anyone knows if anything like that has been done would you kindly point me in the right direction so I can get my ideas generating?

DD13 (will be 14 when we go next spring) has become surf obsessed since our trip to Hawaii. We live on the prairies so NO SURFING ops here AT ALL So anyway, as our grade 8 grad gift to her while we are in the world next spring we are surprising her with a surf lesson from Typhoon Lagoon. I can't decide if we just blindfold her that morning and take her there being clueless the whole way?? or give her a gift certificate when we get there? or make up a shirt to tell her? Or just to wear saying something about surfing Typhoon Lagoon or something witty?? I'm clueless - all I know is I want it to be very special but first off I thought if there were any surf ideas already floating around that may help get me thinking of what I actually want.

Ooooooh!! I LOVE them. I wasn't able to get on last night b/c DD was kicking around. lol. and now she's just taken the dog for a quick jog around the block but i really am totally in LOVE with the surf board!!

If I could get that addressed to Cali that would be such an awesome idea I love the gift basket idea but I'm thinking I still need a shirt for after so she can wear it and show that she did it. I'll take some time to think on that one though b/c I'll want to look up some "surfer" terms. I really like the TL logo on it and absolutely ADORE the coloured waves and the swirly mickeys I would make a shirt more basic without the big mickey on it but the Mickey mouse is PERFECT for an invite.

Would you mind if I asked you for a shirt design once I have my ducks in a row? and should I post it here? or find another thread of yours to post the request??

I think I could get one of those clear cover photo albums to put in the gift basket and I could print this out to put as the cover. Then all her pictures from the day could go in there!!

wow, you guys just continue to amaze me!!! Thank you. Your faster than I can even think of ideas. LOL. I could use that licence by laminating it and putting it in after the surf lesson with a shirt She's going to be bombarded with surf stuff. lol.

and yes, thanks again to Mickey (in my post further up when I said I love them I meant both the first two posts that had been put up). but it's worth saying again thanks to Mickey for posting it and Donatali for the design. Cali LOVES those um, what are they called - Tunnels?? that you surf through?? What surfer wouldn't hey?

Thanks again to all of you. My husband is a photographer and we do some work in programs such as photoshop for his business and when I showed him this things he just said WOW!!! That's real design work - these guys are SO GOOD!!

Sorry I've been awol for awhile - We had a busy Thanksgiving up here in Canada and then I was busy catching up after the holiday. I'm finally getting around to popping onto here again.
