They totally freak me out.
We live in a little town but we still have crap like that happen.
We've had a fire and a bomb threat.
The fire didn't really scare me, because I was safe out of the building.
But the bomb threat really scared me, I ended up in tears.
The office was listening to the radio and there was a caller from a payphone that said "I advise all of the children of -my town- elementary school to get out. There has been a bomb placed in the school.
We all the sudden heard our secretary in tears over the intercom screaming "GET OUT OF THE BUILDING NOW THIS IS NOT A DRILL" and we all didn't understand what was going on. Usually for real fires they told us to go to the end of the blacktop, but this time they made us go all the way up against the fence. Me and my best friend ended up crying and saying "I dont wanna die.." But it was a false alarm. Some goon thought it would be funny. There were a bunch of police men with K9's and guns and bats and crap it was freaky. I went home though.

Anybody else have anything scary happen at their school?

Last year we had to go on lockdown because of the guy who shot the cop down here. The guy was riding around and they were afraid of him coming down our street but he didn't. Thank God.

Our school is sorta on the borderline of the bad part of town, so in the bad part of town there's two neighborhoods who are basically like the capulets and montagues. They hate each other. There's always gang stuff and fights between them, but nothing to major.

Uhmmm...that's all I know of.

we had someone threat that he would bomb the school last year. my mom and dad kept me home. but nothing happened. my friend said like nobody was at school.

Gangs, we dont have any but 1.
We're lucky!
Yeah, not many people were left during our bomb threat too.

Not really.
When a bomb threat is received at my school they go over the intercom and say our address I believe. It might be if there's a dangerous person in the school... hm. Not sure. But something like that and then we have to walk quite a ways.

Last year there was a rumour that there'd be a shooting at another school as there were threats in the bathroom, but that didn't really apply to me.

we've never had a bomb threat or anything, being in a really small town and all, eeryones harmless :)
we've just had some intense mock lockdowns.
like the one time, it went on for a period & a half, which is close to like, 2 hours, and they had a "real" intruder, and the police ran it as if he was real, trying to find them & stuff
i was on the third floor, but my friends on the main floor said that they were trying the doors & stuff :scared:
id be freakin out, haha

my schools also haunted ! :O
its so big & soo old, the entire third floor is haunted
in our drama room, luigi always comes and visits us :)
luigi was a janitor who died in the theater, which was once a gym.
he plays tricks by slamming doors, turning off the music during dance class,
we also thing that he put another bump in the floor, lol, cuz our floors very very uneven in there

also, in the bathrooms right across the hall from the drama room, is haunted too
i was in there one day, alone, and completely out of no where i heard this ticking sound. i thought nothing of it, and as i was washing my hands, one of the stall doors slams
I FREAKED OUT ! :|
scariest moment of my life.

also, the one hall way on the third floor is always freezing, even though there are windows letting the sun in..
eerie or what ? :)

there was also something i heard about some guy in our kicthen dying, idn the story though, lol

so yeah, my schools haunted, its awesome :)

Some kid got punched in the face and his nose was broken about a week ago. There was an ambulance at my school. It was pretty sweet

Last year we had a lockdown. We have never even had a single lockdown drill before..

Turns out there was this guy who called 911 threatening to kill himself with a gun and because he was near our school with a gun the police had advised us to go on lockdown.. didn't know if he'd go closer to the schools or not.

ive been through like fourty billion bomb threats and gun threats. people are nuts. no one has the balls to actually do something like that around here though.

um. there was a gas leak in fifth grade.

we get locked down for drug searches all the time.

so yeah. my schools a little wacko.

Hah, you think a bomb threat is bad?

We have at least 2 bomb threats every year, never fails. Last year there was a stabbing at my high school. Police are ALWAYS at the school. Whenever we see a police car or the like outside the school, we don't wonder what happened, we wonder" who got into a fight with who?". We had a security breach last year, someone got into the system and took everyone's SS #, home info, everything. We've had numerous lock downs, it's nothing new. Lots of drug busts in the high school too. And lots of gangs.

Yeah.
A couple of years ago we had a gas leak.
And then last year we had about 10 bomb threats.

Nothing ever happened, though.

Once there was an older kid with a gun outside the school so we had to go into lockdown. Also, there was a bank robber on the loose (the bank is 1 street over from my school) and i was in lunch. It was scary being in lunch cause i was sitting right near the windows!!!

In 4 years, I've seen 6 fires (caused by people smoking in the bathrooms and throwing lit butts in the trash), 12 bomb threats, 4 lockdowns, and countless drug searches.

In my entire school career, I've been through a lot worse. I just don't let it get to me.

During bomb threats they evacuate us completely and if it's winter out, it's basically cause for a really big snowball fight. Even some of the teachers get in on it. We're a pretty laid back school in a really laid back ski town.

The only thing I've ever really been creeped out about was last summer. I was at my old school for a summer conditioning camp with our AT and one of the other girls got a call from her mom saying that some guy had shot a couple people at the local Army/Navy store with an automatic rifle. Andy (the AT) sent us all home, but me. I called my dad (who was heading to that same store) and told him he needed to come pick me up. I told him to go around and not go right by the store, but he ignored me and went by it anyway. He was stuck in traffic for an hour and a half because cops were searching all the vehicles and stuff. I had to sit in Andy's truck (it's a nice truck and he's a nice guy and all, but still, armed gunman on foot less than a mile from me) for the entire time. Yeah. I was creeped. Turns out, he ran in the opposite direction.

Oh yeah, I forgot.
There was this one time, when some idiots in the boys locker room decided to spray the lost and found with Axe and set it on fire, and we had to stand outside. In the snow. Freezing. For 3 hours.

i go to a small Christian school with like one big hallway.
and last year we had a tornado warning or watch, whichever ones worse.
and we all had to get in the hallway and just sit there. it wasnt really THAT scary.

it isn't really scary.
it's more sad than anything.
but a kid died at my school freshman year.
i go to a really, really small school so it was a big shock.
but i hate going to the corner of the gym where he died.
it's so sad.
