Has anyone visited or gotten married at Leu Gardens in Orlando??

I am trying to plan out our vow renewal and I would like to do the service at the Gazebo there. How far away from Disney is it and whats the fastest easiest way to get there.

I would love to do our renewal onsite but the prices they want are out of this world for a ton of stuff we wouldnt use.

We are going to be down there for our 20th anniversary and wanted to do a vow renewel, but like you, the cost is too much for things I wouldn't use. I'd be curious to find out more too. When is your anniversary? I noticed your countdown clock and mine are a day apart. My anniversary is July 9th

OMG thats my anniversary too!!!! And get this it is our 20th anniversary also!!!!! This is just too neat!!!!! Im going to call Leu Gardens tomorrow and get easier directions. It looks like it is about 14 miles from Disney. The Gazebo in the Woods is BEAUTIFUL. I am also going to see if I can get Rev Tim who does a lot of the Disney Weddings to officiate. He loves to do vow renewals.

Where are you staying for your anniversary?

I'm of no help distance wish. But I know there is a Lady who just recently got married there on the disneymooners group. also swan does weddings for less from what i hear.

The Leu Gardens are really lovely. To get there from WDW, take I-4 east (toward downtown Orlando) to exit 85, Princeton Street. Turn right off the exit and just follow the signs. The signage in the area is excellent.

Thank you PammyK!!!! One more question for you. What is the easiest way to get to I4 from WDW? Can you get to it from Oceola??

Gosh...it really depends on what resort you are staying at. WDW does have signs on all the main internal roads directing you to the main external roads, including I-4. There are 3 designated exits for WDW from I-4 so depending on where on property you are, one might be easier than another. I would once again recommend following the signs to I-4 and you should be fine.

Hey lvs_eeyore, we are staying at the Caribbean Beach. We will have all our kids with us, but they will be on their own that day while hubby and I get "lost in the Magic!" We have ressies at the California Grill on the 9th and they set the time to hopefully correspond with the fireworks.
That's so cool that we have the same day and Year!!! Perhaps we should meet up for a toast
Where are you staying and how long are you going to be there? We are getting there on the 3rd and staying 10 nights. If it wasn't for my trip in April, I would go crazy waiting!!!!!

phorsenuf we normally stay at the Caribbean Beach but chose the Poly for this special occasion. We will be there from the night of the 3rd for ten days also!! Our first night in fact IS at CBR!!! We will have to meet at the Pool Bar for a drink and a toast!!! We are also going to Disney in April!!! When will you be there??

We are going from April 25th to May 2nd. The first 2 nights we may stay off property until the discount rates go into effect on the 27th. We will be staying at All Stars Music. My sons' school chorus is performing at Epcot on the 28th (he may have a solo!) and the band is marching in the parade on the 27th. It was a very impromtu trip and we haven't told our 2 youngest. We are just going to get in the car an go! It will be so much fun!!!!
When will you be there in April? We will definatly have to meet on the 3rd of July at CB for a drink!!!

I called Rev Tim today and HE answered the phone. I got totally tounge tied because I expected a secretary to pick up the phone first not him LOL. He was at Leu Gardens as we spoke and said he would check out our time and day and call me back early this afternoon!!! This is actually starting to come together. phorsenuf have you had the chance to check out the Leu Gardens site?? The Gazebo in the Woods is just lovely!! It rents for 175.00 for a one hour small wedding. Rev Tim charges 150.00 to do the ceremony and he LOVES to do Vow Renewals. I am soooooooo excited I may never come down from cloud nine!!!!

I would love to get together with you for a drink at CB on the 3rd!!! What time and we will be there. I have a pin that says DIS luvs_eeyore on it so you will know me right away. Its LIME GREEN!!
