I used Crystal for my Jan wedding. I liked the make up and the hair was alright. But it was her attitude that was horrible. I didn't feel that she was friendly at all. When she first arrived at the house and asked what I wanted, when I told her she pulled at my hair telling me that I wouldn't be able to get the style I wanted. That I must be realistic and the photos I had were models they were not going to a wedding. I also didn't like the fact that I sent her by google maps where my parents were staying and she still had to contact me the day of and ask where we were after speaking with her the night before and explaining it (and before we left to go down). Very annoying.

In the end, I recommend that you go with someone else. Hope my 2 cents helps.

Hi. Sorry for the delayed post. I didn't get home from Disney until late last night. I went to Crystal's house for my hair and makeup trial on Wednesday. My mom and I were both very happy with how both turned out. I live in Florida so I know how my hair reacts with the humidity and what can and can't be done and what will and won't stay for more than 20 minutes, so we did work within those parameters. She does like to clarify several times the plans beforehand but we had no problems.

I'm curious did you end up staying with her for your hair/makeup? Or did you change to someone different. Reading the mixed reviews I'm wondering for my wedding in January.

I actually ended up canceling with her she was very nice about it and is sending my deposit back through the mail (I believe I feel a little guilty about it since I haven't seen her work personally but hair and make-up is something I have been stressing out about and is really important to me. I decided to go with Beaute Speciale and it is going to be about 100 more but the peace of mind is worth it to me.
