Has anyone used turn down service lately?

you don't have to be a member, but the Resort has to offer this service. Turndown service is usually a service Hotels provide so maybe that's why OKW doesn't have it. (I would confirm)

OKW is more of a Resort Community than a hotel and their services are different than the other DVC's that are connected to hotels.

We asked about it on our last trip and the CM who was checking us in was clueless.
I honestly think TerryS got lucky !!!

We received turn down service, on our last stay in a one bedroom at BWV, and didn't ask nor get charged for it! We came back to the room, one night...I think it was our second or third night there, and found the bed turned down with salt water taffies on the pillows, and the trash taken out. Nice surprise!

I have gotten turn down service many times at WDW deluxe resorts but never knew it was available at certain DVC resorts until reading about it on the boards. After reading about turndown service at the DVC resorts, I requested and got turn down service at BWV . Turn down service included salt water taffy on the pillows, the beds turned down, bathroom and towels refreshed, etc. The room is "turned down" or made ready for the night. The service provided was identical to the turn down service that is provided at any of the deluxe WDW resorts. I loved it!

I will try and ask for it again this May. and...I have no problem paying for it. We pay for trash/towel...but I would prefere a "night time" service instead.
